Can you just start out in a 5gallon?

im just curious.. why risk transporting it and disturbing the plant.. why dont u just start it out in a 5gallon?....yes or no?

for some people it just wouldnt work well.. if john smith is running a perpetual grow op where is vegging 5 plants, flowering 5 plants, and has 5 clones/seeds working he may not have the space... if john smith can start the seeds or clones in a smaller container he can dedicate the space they would be taking up in the 5 gallon pots to either the vegging plants, or even cut the veg room size down to allow for a bigger flowering area... although it is best to start a seed or clone out in whatever size pot it is going to finish in, it doesnt always work out that way...
