it sounds plausible, has he done it himself and seen results. personally i think this would lower the pH to a more acidic level. if you decide to do this let us know whether it works or not. youll have to have some control plants to really. ide suggest three separate grow areas, one with the tea feed, one with no feed, and one with some kind of commercial nutrients. make sure you use the same soil in all and make sure all other variables are the same so you are only dealing with the one variable, the nutrients. you could add another grow area with the tea and the commercial nutes combined to see the effects of that too. good luck.

I have put tea leaves around the base of my dope plants (& other herbs) before,,,,they do seem to like it but I wouldn't use only that to feed them with... They need a whole range of minerals/elements etc at different times of their cycles so just Tea on its own would not have enough dimension to it... Also a "Tea" is also what they call a mix prepared out of manure and other composts that are left to ripen from a couple of days to years..You then dilute these in water to make "Tea" for your plants ( check out organic gardening)... hope this helps bongsmilie

can anyone help with info on how much water to give to a plant in a 7.5ltr pot of soil
it depends on where your plant is at in their growth cycle....if they are a seedling then not much (just keep the soil damp with a cup or so of water every few days) or if they are in bud then they will need a lot more but you should still just keep it damp,,not socking wet,,,try not to over water they don't like it...
stick your fingertip into the soil down about an inch or so...if it is damp?wet then they don't need water but if dry then give em some...hope this helps:joint:

it does thanks.

also taking one week old plants(say 10) at about 2 to 3 inches tall each from 300w of clf to 400w hps lighting(1 light now adding another of these in 2 weeks) will this have any negative effects on plants.

there about 2 ft from the light but 1 that was in a smaller pot was about 4 inches closer as i sat it on the bigger pots till i got soil today to put it in the last big pot, 2 leaves have curled at the ends of the the biggest leaves and feel crusty so i think its a bit burnt off the light i have stuck it on my floor so its now about 3ft from light, how can i make this one feel a bit better or is it now a lost cause?

sorry about my grammar im a bit baked

Yeah, I wouldn't feed my plant tea. Tea is for me to drink, fox farm is for my plants to drink.
