First time hearing this and I read a lot

And what if somehow get the hermies from the vent?
What happens?
Can the plant mature with hermies?
Will it be smokeable?

Read that. Figure it out. I had maybe one plant hermie in years of running bag seed before a seed bank was even a dream.

Since feminized seeds have come out? It's an issue for everyone.

Yep. Hermies can produce killer smoke. Chemdawg came from a hermie. Just watch and remove the offending male parts until harvest.

I use sonoff wireless network switches. To control my lights, fans, heater, dehumidifiers, ect. Ect. Ect. Wirelessly on my phone no matter where I'm at. I have controll of all my grow areas. They have both a green and blue led on them. Green is power on, the blue means connected to the network. They are on all the time. Pretty much. Inside my tent. I've nvr gotten a hermie from it. If it's one diode I doubt it has enough wattage/par/lumens to affect anything. I mean it's probably a 0.5 watt diode anyway. I wouldn't worry about. And btw I have 3 so sonoffs in a 2x4x5 tent.

Green light is used by plants, for one its used in shade avoidance. I know its used in photosynthesis too. The whole green light is invisible to plants is an old myth.

Im not saying one diode is going to cause a hermie though.
Tape them up or buy a fan that doesn't have any leds on. Cheap enough.

typically fans with leds have 4 pins or if they dont have pwm but have leds they will have 3 pins. if you look at the fan itself you will be able to see the leads to the leds..... either clip the extra wire on the power cable. or the leds themselves.

The blue and yellow are pwm and led controll, if you can see where I had clipped before. If you aren't using a controller and have a pentomiter with the right amperage you can splice it in the yellow for an adjustable fan

I used a green led to look at my plants twice a day for approx 1 min each time, no hermie.
