If your concerned about it causing issues trade it out with one in your pc that don't have the lights or cover with electrical tape or remove them completely. Im to new to this to know if it would make a difference.

That's good advice Jim but yeah the green light is a go! check this link out if you get a minute.. a lot of us have at least one green light bulb in our grow room just for this reason, also black tape would probably chill out op too, good luck!

Shouldn't be an issue but I still cover green lights with tape I've heard some of the green led emit a little bit of other colors too never tested it to see if that's true. My question is why would the main vent ever turn off?

But some people get hermies from green light on 12 h every day...

Are you 1000% sure about this
They absorb it. Almost 90% of it. It's part of normal photosynthesis. But at this level it's not going to cause them to grow. Red is more an issue for hermies I do believe.

Pretty sure that's not completely true.

Flowered without a tent, used iPower bulb, red LED lights all around. A single CFL bulb so I could see in my 1 room cabin in Interior Alaska in winter. My television on to watch a DVD every night.

Not a single hermie in 4 plants, 3 different strains.

So much for lights causing hermies.
