can i start the flush with 3weeks left??? plz read

i burned my nl pretty bad aroung a week n half ago, im reluctant to feed now as im coming close to the end and dont wanna burn anymore, do u think if i start my flush now with 3 weks left that it will effect my final yeild???

my plan is to start flush 2day for 15days and the last 6 days will be used to dry the plant while its still growing??

any thaughts?? thanx guys n girls :peace:
 
you might want to hit them with a 1/4 strength application.. just something to give them to snack on... they are still growing and ripening.. and cutting all nutes from them will pretty much stop them where they are at.. or water with plain water, give them a 1/4 strength app next watering, which should still leaving you one more plain watering before your 6 day dry... the 1/4 strength wont be enough to worry about as far as taste at harvest...
 
Everytime I have a problem like that I flush for a day or 2 making sure the roots get cleaned off and then I start nutrient application again at around 1/4 to 1/2 strength. If you are using multiple nutrients make sure you keep an eye on your ppm as much as possible especially after a nute problem. If you are using soil you can introduce some earthworms to the grow the last 3 weeks as well as long as you're using low strength on the nutes. They will airate the soil and lightly fertilize this will be especially helpful right before harvest. I am not a soil grower but I have recently met one who grows A LOT more than I do and his bud is always banging. Good luck.
 
my worry is buring the bud leaf, realy dont wanna do that coz their plastered in thc!!!!dont wanna lose that!! i think il give 1/4 strenght bloom and a mil per litre of boost for one more week, then do a 10 day flush with ph'dwater, what ya think, got some pics here to show the burn, u cant realy see it but it is quite bad, i went to strong to fast!!

You could try molasses or FF big bloom or some other organic nute. I agree to give it small amount as a snack. Blackstrap molasses supposedly has NPK in it in small amounts. Good luck my friend.
 
that should be fine to.. either way you do it you still will want to give them some sort of nute application.. whether its now or the next watering.. but 1/4 strength will do the trick... at least get ya through..

i definetly dont recomend a 3 wk flush. i actually dont recomend a flush at all. flushing is bullshit....completely unneccesary. do farmers flush their fields before harvest? do you flush your tomatos and beans in your backyard garden? no, because its not needed.

the last weeks of a plants flowering cycle is when the buds pack on the most weight and resin...why would you starve it then. its the same as spending months training for a marathon and then not eating breakfast the day of the race...your performance will suffer.

a slow dry and a proper cure is all you need for bomb ass weed.

thanx m8, maybe just cut back a bit and do a small flush like 7day flush??

i do beieve a flush is necessery as it does effect the taste and the way ur joint burns!!!!:peace:

i used to be a die hard flusher then a guy argued me into submission. try weaning yourself off of flushing slowly like i did. i used to do a solid 2wks and get delish buds. then i tried a 10 day flush and got the same sweet buds. next i did a single week...same great taste but now my weight is going up a bit. next i tried a 4 day flush....tasty and bigger yet. now i dont flush at all, i just feed light the last 4-5 days and not anything the last 2 days(no water, no nothing). holy shit! i still have great tasting weed but way larger buds!

give it a try. you may like it.:peace:

SERIOUSLY????????/ fuckit thats my plan exactly, im going for it, i want the most outa my grow my friend and that seems the way forward, il just go light the last fiew days!! thanx il let u know how i get on ok!!:joint:
 
well i trim and hang manageable sized branches on coat hangers in a dark decently ventilated area untill the outside of the buds are crispy. the center stems still bent a bit without snapping when i cut the buds off the big stems and put them in jars. usually the next day they are no longer crispy on the outside but quite juicy. depending on how juicy i lay them out on cardboard for a day or two untill they are crispy again and back into the jars. keep the jars dark and cool and open them for a few minutes every day. i call it cured after 2 wks but it is really good after 3 or 4wks.
 
i will say tho i am realy worried about my leaves burning even more,i just mixed the neutes to 1/4 strengh but im affraid that theyl go so bad i wont have any leaves to help the buds fatten up. u know what its like if ur babies r sick!!!

i just realy wanna see them fatten up nicely and not STUNT...... i want at least 2oz off each plant and i have 4plants.
