Can i reuse perlite?

So i had a bag of potting soil in a tote I forgot outside.
After a few rains i noticed all the perlite had floated to the top
Can i rinse and resuse that perlite in my next grow? Or will it be too saturated with nutrients to be useable ?

Why only a couple of handfuls? I have quite a few other bags in use that i added perlite to when mixing.
Does a percentage of perlite diffuse or erode?
yes. I re use soil all the time. I empty the old soil into totes outside. When reusing I have to add more perlite to the mix.

Plant "eats" a fair chunk of soil mix. It has to find room for its roots. Notice a root bound plant has next to no soil left in the pot? - no idea if that's true but that's my theory.

if that was just one bag of potting soil in that tote, it won't have much more than that, they're usually a little skimpy on it in my opinion, anyway
O no my bad I mislead you Rodger
There was just a little in that tote
The last couple handfuls like you said.
The other bags are all pretty hefty on the perlite
I dump my used medium in a heap outside. Let it rain on it. Reuse it. No pH issues that's for sure.
That's perfect bro exactly what I'm going to do as well.

not wild about perlite, use wood chips, best is kiddie wood chips same as on play grounds, doesnt take long for them to break down,in mean time is great for air and spongy wood absorbs the feeds,im convinced perlite is not only just a filler so soil manufacture sell you less soil and fillers, but every pot i have broke apart have noticed just hard as a rock, soil will pack around it and really just useless imo, chips are sponge and hold on the feed as good as bio char, then breaks down real good to humus in a no till,if you have forest around you, take a day and go find a dead tree been laying there about 10 yrs and kick it and watch the humus come out, there is your humus and air, leave the plant in container cut plant off at soil level, plant another seed right beside the stalk, then you have your hiway of roots already there for more air exchange and roots love it,buy the time those break down it be harvest time for next bunch if you dig
