Can I leave my plant in to veg stage for 3 months

I want to leave my Plant in veg stage, how long can I leave it in veg stage ? .reason why is because I want to grow the plant with out weed growing on it

You can definitely do that. As long as you are giving them 18+ hours of light per day, they will stay in veg. When people grow those massive tree like Cannabis plants, they veg for almost a year I believe!

Holy crap thanks, so they won't smell if I give them 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness?

gas light em. 12 on 5.5 off 1 on 5.5 off..........

Some strains will smell while some won't. I had a few strains that smell like they were in flowering mode during veg.

Did the smell go away ? I just don't want my backyard smelling

Indoors? Buy a carbon scrubber; well worth the money...

indoor right now but later outside

There's little you can do about the smell once they're outside...
A scrubber will sort it indoors...if it's even needed in veg, like cassinfo said; some strains stink, some not.
I'd be inclined to buy a carbon scrubber just for my peace of mind, but it just depends on your own situation really...

Yup I hole plants for as long as I want to, every 6 months I will take the plant out and cut off 2-4" right off the bottom of the root ball, I add soiless mix, and drop the plant back in give it a full nutrient feeding and good to go for another 6 months, just have to trim and prune as necessary, or clone clone clone lol.

that's what a mother is kept in veg for as long as needed once knew a guy that kept his mother for 3 years but I agree you eons be able to keep it in veg outdoors without artificial lighting

I have never experienced a strong smell coming from a cannabis plant while in veg so you should be good with that. The strong smells generally arent noticeable around the grow until you are a little ways into flower.

I guess it is possible for certain strains to be more smelly than others, but I haven't experienced that during veg.

You can keep in Vegg state for a long time . This is what is known as a mother plant . Keep taking clones from her . One mother plant can produce many many baby clones .

pretty much as long as it gets 18 hours or light or more it won't flower

? it's a smelly plant...I walk into my veg foom and it smells big time
