can i grow my plant in just peat-moss?

Hi, I'm very new at this and i recently started my first grow. it has about a half-inch stem length at the moment and i have it growing in peat moss that has added nutrients... i am not sure however if i will be having to transplant it into a differents soil mixture. any opinions or experiences?

You won't be able to grow in just peat moss, you will need to add some stuff.

If you want to go super cheap, you can go to Home Depot and get some SuperSoil in the brown bag and a bag of perlite. Just mix like 25% perlite with the SuperSoil. This mix will work just fine, and will only cost you like $5.

If you want something is going to work well, go to your local hydro shop and pick up some Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. It is like $15 a bag, but worth every penny. You don't have to add any perlite or anything, and you don't even need to feed your vegging plants for a couple of weeks with it.
