Cali vs. Canada... I wanna know more...

So me and my room mate are constantly debating on which area would be best to live, between California and Canada. I myself feel like BC would be really nice. The farthest north in that area Ive been is Seattle, WA and it was great. But Ive never been to Canada or know much about living costs, but obviously rumor has it that its kinda laid back on marijuana. My room mate denies Canada having medical marijuana though, saying only Cali does (this true?). Now weather maybe really nice in SoCal but Im thinkin earthquakes in the future for that state, hope not but you never know lately. I can tolerate the cold with a big coat so as long as its not always snowing year round I would be fine. But basically I wanna know any input you guys feel like you wanna tell me about either of the two. He wants to get into growing for clinics and patients, but neither of us know who to talk to about that, or where the best place would be to start. Thanks for reading and for your help!!!

I Canada they Medical is alot more controlled, and to get in with things like anxiety, depression or even DPD can take years to process and you aren't granted permission until. But the illegal trade is almost legal. Find a niche in a community and don't cause a disturbance or safety issues and you are less likely to have legal problems but still face the risk. We have a style of growing called The Big 3, so that you are below the mandatory minimum for jail time.

Weed os definitely more lax in the states that have dispenseries, but if the DEA are still going balls deep I would be very, very cautious.

Could you go more into the big 3 youre talking about? First Ive heard of it and not sure I understand exactly. My roomy had mentioned wanting to move to the emerald triangle and get a home and grow there but I seen the same tv episode featuring it and they made it seem like an easy task and nearly legal as long as its kept between you and the clinics. Or at least what I have grasped about it. We have both done some grow ops together and always come out excellent, but I must say he takes it very seriously. His girlfriend has money so he buys a lot of top line products from HTG constantly lol. Anyways, I have money set back for either starting a career or buying a home, and its been a decision Ive been pondering on for the longest time. Would it be wise to invest it into a home with a grow op, inside a community where others typically do the same?

The big three is that either you just grow 3 plants, vegg 2 months, flower 2 months and pull just under a pound off each one. Or it can be just 3 perpetual, getting about a pound once per. 5 weeks. I usually see people doing them with 2 rental homes, one is the vegg house, then the flower and drying house. They put 1 600W MH, and the flower house gets 2 400W, and a 1000W then the lights are timed and changed so not to much time is spent on one lamp. Start with the 2 fours, couple weeks change to the 1000W, go to 1400W, then 1800W if you what some max yield.

I don't know much about BC, but there are so many grows they can't and simply won't go after the small 1-20 or 30 plant ops. But if they are stumbled across, they don't need a raid.

Stumbing across a grow op of 10 plants or so doesnt need a raid... what do you mean exactly? Like they will just dispose of them, not bust in your door and trash you house? And say I was to keep my grow op under those big 3 conditions, whats expected as a penalty if I were to be found growing? I would much rather be growing for clinics or patients and having some for personal but is that only if you know someone who knows someone, or can I be allowed to grow a small amount for a few individuals who are prescribed it?
