Hey everyone, i was wondering if this was good to be inside your grow room?
growing white label - purple haze.... will this thing produce oxygen? clears odor? smeems like it does alot to be true....let me know if anyone has heard anything about this...

The C.A.P. OZN-Jr Ozone Generator attacks and neutralizes odors. It eliminates odors caused by smoke, mold, mildew, pets, cooking and damp basements by generating ozone (03) - one of the most powerful oxidizers available. O3 doesn't just mask odors, it neutralizes odors at the source, then harmlessly converts to CO2 and oxygen. It cycles at 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off. Perfect for small areas or rooms. It comes complete with a 3 year warranty. Good for deodorizing up to 1000 square feet.

Yes. Too much ozone can be bad for you as well as your plants. But the right amount can be helpful by preventing mold, algae, etc. and eliminates unwanted odors.

I have had nothing but good luck with Discount Hydro. If you bought that product from them, I would venture to bet that they would take it back with no questions asked. That's the advantage of dealing with a good company.

Peace,

i know these help in preventing the smell, but in the thread it says about converting co2 and oxygen to o3, doesnt plants need co2 to increase yeild?

Ok it seems a lot of you have questions about ozone generators. This is how they work.

Ozone o3 binds with odors and destroys them on a molecular level causing the break down of o3 into o2 oxygen and co2. A high concentration of o3 ozone will be very harmful and can kill your plants/you though to hit this level you would have to be using a lot larger ozone generator however i will lay down the guidelines for all generators. Ozone generators are relatively cheap and very effective at controlling odor however you have to and i meen HAVE TO have air circulation with fresh air coming and old air going to prevent build up. I use the ozone capn generator for 5500 square feet in my 10 by 13 grow room which controls my odor effectively however i also have a window ac unit bringing in air 24/7 and a fan taking air out this prevents the build up while keeping odor under control and i have yet to have a mold problem.

Back to the topic on hand. Does anyone have this particular generator?
Heres the link to the actual item again.

So who has experience with this particular model? Does it kill moderate skunk odor in a small area 1000 sq ft or less?
Were not debating whether its healthy or not. I'm reviving this thread because I am thinking of purchasing this. Many others seem interested as well. Thank you!
