My friend, the fact that you have NOT moved the stuff yet worries me.
Security is the key. Yours has been compromised, it is time to evac. If they don't come today, they might come tomorrow, or the next day...whenever they are done collecting their information to solidify and get a warrant. They might not site the inspection in the warrant, but, they can damn well base an investigation on a "random" tip-off. Heck, they might not ever come, but if they do, well, your screwed.
Anyway, stop posting, start moving (and destroying if you have no other option) and do work.

The landlord or apartment representative didn't say anything along the lines of "we know of your illegal flowers and you should really remove those" or "we know of your illegal flowers, so you're splitting the harvest with us"? What you've got to do really depends on your location and other circumstances. It might even be more risky to ditch everything, especially if your objective is to let the plants finish elsewhere. That's the kind of thing you'd have to have coordinated, with ample cover and a little assistance from somebody confident you can trust. These kind of people are rare, so you might want to cut your losses, harvest what you can and chop everything else up in little pieces.

Listen to this guy he is right...Those sneeky police will toss you right out the way if you open the door. Go invest in a wireless cam you can monitor, they are inexpensive. Security should be considered #1 if your a farmer. My shit is monitored 24/7. If someone even approaches that doesn't belong...well, I know they are coming and my sh$t is ready to EXPLODE.
Again Security is #1!!!! I would move it and not take the risk, your tempting fate.

Damn! I JUUUUUUUST made a thread about this exact thing 2 weeks ago. I was debating on getting an apartment or renting a house to grow in. Apt. is DEFINITELY out of the question now!

I had a big scare like this recently in my rental prop and ditched all of my plants in the woods. I know how unsettling it is. Turned out to be a non-event and it really hurt financially but nothing is more precious than your freedom. I'm still glad I reacted and would do it again. Everybody should have a plan for tearing shit down on a moment's notice.

It may take a few days for an investigating officer to get a sworn testimony under oath from whomever saw your grow, but if they do, it is all they need to secure a search warrant. It is possible that whomever entered the apartment could give a rats ass what goes on inside of them. These are college dorms. I'm sure they have seen it all. My concern would be they have access to a master key and could come back when the plants are ready to harvest.
move to a friends house, or destroy, cops will be coming once they obtain a warrant so they do not give u time to clean. they will just show up wit the warrant and go to the room where the weed was reported.
since i dont know you i dont care what you do, but as a friendly grower i will give you your 3 most likely scenarios.
1. move to a freinds house tn, move all equiptment/evidence, then ur fine.
2. kill the plants, dispose of them underground (dig a hole and bury them)
3. wait for the cops to come, lose all yuor weed anyway and get a fine/jail time.
its your choice really.

Screw all the legal talk and advice.....if the cops want you and your stuff is still there they will pop you. Warrants and all that shit are great in conversation, all they need to do is knock on the door and say that they smell weed. Or they can just claim to have gotten an anonymous tip.
If they havent knocked yet, there are a few possibilities:
1. The inspector is cool and didnt say a word (the least likely of all)
2. He did tell and you are now being watched as is anyone that comes to your place
3. They will be coming.
I've had my place raided years ago because a roommate was under investigation for poaching Deer.....Long story short, I moved and qut growing forr a few years......better safe than sorry. The financial hit of losing a crop is nothing compared to jail time, laywer fees and the lost income while on the slammer.

im not sure what state you are in or if this even applies for all states, however in michigan, if it is a felony, police do not even need a warrant. i had a felony warrant for my arrest once years ago for the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana cause i sold a bag to a girl 6 months before that named amanda fushman. the cop was actually nice and knocked, but he told me he could have just walked in my house and that if they are arresting someone for a felony charge, they don't need a warrant.
lol if they smelt weed id tell them "cops always seem to smell weed and alcohol and i dont have time to waste on their nonsence". if they said they had an anonymous tip id tell them good for them, im not doing anything wrong and to bring this tipster as i dont believe them in any way. if they want to come in an easy "come back with a warrant" will work. lets see how far they get.

this is exactly why i had to move my cabinet out of my apartment. access by other people is a bust waiting to happen. Be safe and grow when you have a safe place to do so.
