Hey all,

I've really enjoyed the amount of information I've gotten off of RIU - had a little trouble getting my confirmation e-mail at first, but that seems cleared up now.

I am a late 40's hobbyist grower and canna-refugee. Got turned on to "Kind Bud" back in the late 90's, but that shit was $400/oz, so I subscribed to Cannabis Culture magazine and their forums and got myself setup. Grows got bigger and better, changing that 430 SunAgro bulb for a 1K HPS on a mover, and from 4 DWC buckets to 6. Still small potatoes, but I was having fun, and I didn't have to find a hookup for good bud. Had to take a break from growing in 2005, and finally took my tax dollars to a state that didn't consider me a criminal for my hobby, and moved to Colorado in 2015.

Took a year to find a house, but here we are, and I'm pretty happy with the setup the wife allowed me in my MJ "Lab" in a spare bedroom. Environment could be more ideal, we have no AC in the house and that includes the grow room. I just put a humidifier in 2 weeks ago to combat the 17% constant rH during the winter here on the Front Range, so at least have that in the low 30's now. Also because of that, I don't do any indoor between June and October. For gear, I'm running 630W CMH in 2ea 4x4' flower tents. My nursery/veg closet has a 2' T5 fixture up top, and a 4' 8 bulb T5 down below.

I've tried a lot of different nutrients. GH trio back in the day. Kelp4less powders when I first got to CO, Dyna-Gro on this last round, and it has performed the best for me so far, and I'm experimenting with Hempy Buckets and CRF in Coco on the new round of girls.

As I said before, DWC was my jam back in the day, but got pretty intrigued by coco as I got back into growing. Running that now with decent success. The tent that is about to finish is using Blumats, and other than one flood at the beginning when I was dialing them in, have worked flawless. The two strains I have going right now finish about a week different, so I'm letting the faster finisher go a little longer since they all feed from the same rez. That would be one of the downsides of the carrots...

Ordered up some great seeds from The Vault last fall, so am finally seeing some variety in my garden. While GG#4 is some fire weed - I'm getting a little tired of it. Right now, I have 2 Sensi Seeds Shiva Skunk and 2 Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough in 7g smartpots and drippers just about to finish.

Enough rambling for now. Looking forward to future harvests!
