hey guys ive been lurking here for a while and since ive seen growmau5 and green genes youtube videos ive decided to build my own after owning a p450 for a bit over a year.

So far i only have my driver. i bought the meanwell HLG-240H-C1050B

im planning on building two seperate lights using the one driver that will go over the p450 to cover the sides.

im going to run 3 vero 29s on each side

im going to be buying these heat sinks. do you guys think they will be fine? its hard getting good heatsinks for a fair price in canada.

going to use ledil clamps and reflectors but i cant seem to find any reflectors or lenses.
im going to post my build here and ill show you how she works over the course of a few months!

You could pick up some aluminum bars from a local metal supplier. Even use lengths of angle metals available from box stores.

It looks like you are going to run each emitter ~40w, of that ~20w will be for heat so you could easily get by using some old CPU heatsink/fans used locally. 20w isn't difficult to disperse, even 60w could easily be done with a cookie sheet and a fan. Lots of options if you want to get creative and save some money along the way.
