I'm sorry GK no digi cam. So is that enough wattage? I have another reflector but need another CFL, I was thinking to put 2 42 watts in there one on left one on right opposed to one in middle now. What do you think?

Just copped this book at the Boarders. Gave me great ideas for lighting.
plants leaning...cause it's a G?

or cause one half had shade and the sun was shining to the south.

Anyway..about lighting..i'm using a 2 light table lamp.. with..i'm not sure what CFL..Tmrw i'll cop the 6500k for veggie. Two lights for this lil one enough?

and the stem sems a bit reddish.. This is my very first plant.. I used questionable soil, bad lightening..some days i didn't even light..it's been about 14 days? will it die?

I'm one hundred % dedicated to it now..can i still save it? like quiting smoking now can drastically reduce your chances of getting cancer.

But getting my soil ph meter, some peat, more bulbs, and an ounce of Ph correct holy water.

that guy looks a little stretched and wilty you should replant it in a bigger pot and cover the stem up to the first set of leaves with soil... and ya it was probably from the light. It also still has its baby leaves, i wouldnt start counting the days untill you get under some real light and soiled up. you will be surprised how fast it will react. read up you will learn a lot!!

^ thanks man..i'm reading i'm reding..my set-up has already increased without even hitting up the hardware store.

and dude, you described this plants exactly the way i didn't want to.

Stretched and wilty like that milky white boy in our 7th grade gym class...I disgress.

Matter of fact...soil is the only thing keepin itup.. if i remove some it's sure to topple over. Replant it and cover it w/ premium soil up to the bottom leaves?

I am really wanting to get started on this, but I am having the worst time finding the small pieces of pre-drilled sheet metal used for the light fixture. I've been to Lowe's and Ace Hardware. Where else would I get it?

trying to make his light fixures? I made a 2 light version of it. Didn't understand the swivvle part all that much. So it's not easy to hang, but easy to bend. it's working for now.

This is certainly more cost effective and if you got the craftsmenship.. you can adjust it and get the best light.

I found it slightly more expensive..but, buying 5 dollar clip-on and desk lamps, sawing off the lamp-heads half way (so a y-splitter and 2 42watt bulbs can fit).. to be just . . easier. So including that 2 piece wood fixture, i got like 4 floor-type lamps producing 10 lights, but i only got 5 bulbs.

GK is probably taking a meditation break... I'm going to take one now too, as I just killed a male that I had such high hopes for being a female... :(

I got my copy of the book, when my plant was already in veg for 5-6 weeks. Now this plant turned out with some big balls instead of hair. So tomorrow I'm killing the guy.
Tomorrow I'm also getting a couple of seeds from a good friend of mine. It's bagseed, but he's saying that it's great stuff. I'll put them tomorrow to germinate, and then I'll go along with the days on the book. I'll have two plants, and I'll try to keep up with the book page by page. I'll start a grow journal as soon as they sprout. I'll include pics of the grow box, the bulbs, fan, everything, so you have a good idea of my grow.

Cheers...

some pics would help. Are the lights enough for the plants? How many plants, how many lights?
