Bud Flavor - Does it exist?

90% of what people taste is actually smell.

Try cutting up a few pieces of apple and some onions and do a blind taste test while holding your nose shut. You may be surprised to realize that they taste very similarly when you can't smell.

What I can't understand is why so many growers want sugary buds. That's the worst! I had one strain that tasted like sugar beats. I had like a QP of the stuff, but hated the flavor/scent so much.

On the other hand, when you snap dried buds off the stem of my pure power plant, the "mist" that comes out of the dry stems immediately takes over your nostrils. It seems like oils causes the good scents, not sugars.

Cannabis has the widest range of flavors of any plant I know. The seeed dealers don't always give an accurate description though. All the best tasting stuff I've grown was from bagseeds so far.
