bubble to BHO

a friend of mine made some BHO out of bubble, and it turned out a really nice creamy light color and after purge was the smoothest oil on my lungs i've ever had.
the ting is, i don't know if it was any more potent than any of the other oil going around that night.

do you guys think making oil out of bubble is more potent than out of nugget? either way it was very tasty.
smoked it off bubblehash dabbers too hehe

I've ran bubble several times, it its best done by layering evenly with some bud/shake, and packed very loosely.

The extra resinous material expands when contact with the solvent its initiated...this clogs the tube, and builds pressure..

One should NOT do a continuous spray with bubble, a blowout is inevitable.

Spray in short increments, allowing your tube to de-pressurize.

Now, with equipment such as the Terpinator.. I don't see that happening, but any standard tube extraction..be very careful..

My first try..I had a beautiful perfect puddle of deep red oil, but, I continued spraying because the color was so beautiful...then....sssssss.. BOOM!!!

looks like about 12 grams id guess? very very nice color.

and no, it wont be more potent, but you will get a higher return.

I ran 14g kief, and 14g bud.... 28g and only got a 6g yield. not even 25%, and oil wasnt crazy potent, nor was it crazy tasty... kind of a waste.

As the bubble was from last season, it wasn't highly aromatic and the yield was only 60.5%. The potency was still good however and it was uniformly saluted by the testers.

23 grams in there eh!!! damn, that must be a lot bigger than it looks!! and 60% yield is damn good, very nice stuff!!

I've made the decision to get a Terpinator FD..

I can just go to the website for ordering, right?
Won't be for 3-4 more months though..

I just dropped over 500$ for grow gear...feels great, but... The cash leaving my hands, that hurt a lot...

Had to barter with the salesman... Saved over 300$!!!

Building my room currently, I'll have some ladies growing up in a couple of weeks.

Yeaaahh boooyyy!!. Hehe

lol 500$ is nothing! plus it will pay itself off in the long run... ya gotta spend money to make money. plus, if you ever wanted, you could sell that gear somehow for 3-400$ so its never a complete loss when youre buying stuff. lets see what ya got.

That's two months of eclectic bill for me :)

I think I dropped about 1200 on everything to get me going. Who knows how much has been invested since...

But! Fresh trichomes yeeeeeee.

Did you get a 4- 6 or 1000 -water?

Ok. How in the Hell do you guys get all that muffin off the metal chamber???? I imagine that has for to be such as pain in the ass to scrape. Or do you rinse it with ethanol??? .. do tell!

BHO is more potent - that is why it is called concentrate. go see the THC levels of BHO samples.

I make both BHO and ice-water hash. There is a process with BHO to make sure it offgasses the butane. Never use less than 3x. If your BHO still smells like butane, you should not be smoking it yet. I make 'marijuana crack rocks' with my process ; ) pics later..

Ice-water hash - 23- 25 micro bags can give full melt hash - meaning nothing left on the screen after burning.

Dayumn.. Didn't realize, I'd get dogged on only spending 500$..haha it's all good though, it's my first set up... The goal is to set up and continue growing my grow..
I gots aLUMii ac hood/reflector, capable of 250/400/600/750/1000w


Xtrasun 1000w dimmable digital ballast with dual receptacle


8” in line fan with plenty of extra ducting
(pic not necessary)

Sun master 250 w ballast and simple hood.. various Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium bulbs..went out and got one of each variety..well..
I got 1] 1000w HPS
1) 750w Hps
1) 600w HPS
1) 400 Hps and 1)400w MH
1) 250w MH

Also got some of those neat-oh ratcheting chains to raise and lower my units with ease.
Already installed extra breaker in the room along with brand new circuitry, I've got 5 full power outlets on one wall along with a GFI unit in there as well.

Insulation happens this weekend along with the design being constructed, the room is going to be a minimum of 12' x12' partitioned off with separate light-tight rooms for veg and flower.

What y'all working with?

Skunk Pharm Research doesn't sell Terpenators, but you can get a Mk IIIA kit through Specialized Formulations at http://specializedformulations.com/.
