Yeah well thats the kind of EC levels i was working to with soil but having doing a bit of research on here ill take your advice, will try lower levels. Heard you dont need as much with these systems.

Im not aure what to do with the drip, i have one person telling me i need to leave the drip on 24/7 and others telling me to do 15 mins a day and then build up to doing 15mins a day (twice) if that makes sence.
Yeah because in these systems the roots get the nutes instantly so keep it around 1.2-16 there are other bits of advice on the ec etc on other forums.

Tbh i've never used the drip feed but i would imagine you'd put it on for short periods various times a day?
24/7 could work also, i don't actually think there's right or wrong, as they get bigger they are going to need more so it's up to you mate

At the minute im just giving them half an hour a day and as they get bigger i will up it, seems to work both ways listening to different opinions, as soon as the roots hit the water you dont even need the drip feed on, lot of people saying to just leave it on though so will do that

I changed my mind now and im sticking with it, i have my drip running 24/7 now and won’t turn it off now. Hopefully they start taking off soon, its been a week and it doesnt look like too much has happened, but they havn’t died and i have been faffing around changing my mind so im going to take that as a possitive and im already expecting to Veg for longer, 5 maybe 6 weeks now due to the slow start.

The roots come out yet?
Whats your humidity and room/water temps?
Whats your EC?

31 degrees at the mo, but very hot and humid weather at the mo here, 34% Humid, EC 1.2 at the mo (take root, multie total and Cal/Mag)

Not actually measured the temps of my water, it feels fairly cool though.

Yeah mines hot too 29-30c.
Try get your humidity up to 45/50%
How old are your plants again? That EC could be abit high mate, mine are 0.6 EC been in the system 2 weeks but have been slow growing due to the heatwave (heat stress stalled them)

There starting to pick up now and look more healthy mate, only just seen this message, mine will be two weeks old tomorrow. Still running diluted Tank so my res is down to 1.0 EC. Looking at upping my wattage in a couple of days buts as i struggle with temp iv ordered a fan upgrade.

Currently i was running a 6” RVK extractor with a 8” carbon filter. But iv now ordered a 10” rhino fan. But will have to reduce down to my carbon filter, do you think this will limit the effect of the 10” fan down to that of an 8” fan due to the down size filter? Cant really be affording a new filter inless i have to but didnt want to go for 8” fan incase it still wasnt enough...

Also how important is it to have an intake aswell as the AC? Was thinking of getting the ram air pro fan controller and adding an intake aswell as keeping the AC on, is there any point though?

Yeah good to hear mate, mine are flying now! Absolutely shocked me lol think im gona have some monsters tbh!

As for filter mate i don't even use a filter untill about 4th/5th week of flower, i only use the extractor to pull the hot air out with out restrictions (filter)

Intake is important due to bringing in fresh oxygen and cooler air to lower temps inside the tent, only problem with all the fans etc is the noise aswell lol i can't have alot of noise due to location.

Ill be buying a couple of them oxygen bags aswell soon just to put more oxygen in there and get the super thriving

Ok well iv just ordered the ram air pro fan controller and i have a spare 6” fan so im going to set my intake up start of next week.

Dont know alot about these oxygen bags where do you buy them from
And how much they?

Im going to add the humidifier now try get it to 45 hopefully. Im amazed how fast there growing now, there rocketing up. Considering getting a net in there already just so its ready for a few more days time ill give them a little trim and try draw them out wider? Been told to try and get them to fill the space of the tent (width weighs) as early as possible?

Yeah get a cold air intake they'll love that.

Just google cannabis oxygen bags and they'll show up mate, I've read loads of good reviews on them.

Yeah mine are flying now too!
Ill put a net in but ill leave it a week or 2 yet, as k still have to get in the tent to change the buckets lol, im gna use a hose thought to fill and drain them eventually, i haven't really had the time.

Yeah i make a right mess when im
Empyting the tanks, how do
People get the last bits out using the pump? only way i could do it was pump as much out with the pump and then use a towel to soak up the last lot but might be tricky now the roots are taking off? Or do people just drain what they can and leave the last bit in there?

Thats good mate just waiting for the babys to turn up then ill be up and running. Ill be happy with 10oz! I cant remember exactly but i Sure i done 44 off the three last time (middle pot had two plants) i dont think i benefitted much from the extra one in the middle pot if i’m honest, but was hard to tell. But seen as im only putting one res in this time as i think two would be too much of a squeeze... I thought id double up on the plant to try and make sure i fill the space. More arkward to feed with a double though! Lol

right so babys turned up before i expected them. so much i forgotten and hoping someone may be able to help me...

1.Firstly can't remember if i keep bubbles on 24/7 (I think i do)
2. What is the favoured distance between light and plant
3. Do i need to run the outtake fan 24/7 while their young and not smelly? or is it better to do this just to help circulate the air (especially at the minute as i have no intake fan. ordering one now)
4. I have one of the CO2 bags, shall i put that in right from the start
5. and lastly at the veg stage what kind of humidity is ideal

thanks all :)

Yes bubbles on 24/7, the more the better

Put your hand above the plants, if it's uncomfortable for you then it's uncomfortable for them

I would run the outtake to get rid of heat and stagnant air, ideally you want fresh air coming in aswell, if you're growing in a house just open windows etc that should be ok

Not sure on co2 bags as ive never used them

Cuttings & seedlings you want high humidity but keep fans on so air is constantly moving in the grow space, veg i keep it around 50 60%
In flower i keep it 40ish

Top man, answered all my questions, pretty sure the bag can go in from the start. can't hurt anything really can it. just ordered a small intake, only using 6" outage and gonna get 4" intake. only hard thing is i have lights on through the day, so temp control always difficult especially this time of year! also. day 1 today. only have my light set at 250w. was going to gradually build it up to 600w as the plant gets stronger? or would you just go full power from the start? thanks again

Have lights on at night mate especially with the summer coming, yeah 250w and gradually build it up, I've always just slapped my 600w on full n let them do their thing, they stretch just a little but the results are GREAT, i never pull less then 7Oz per plant
