Brown Algae Working Down To My Roots!!!! How Can I Stop It!!!??? Plz

Hey guys, ive got 4 plants runnin but my biggest one has been looking very droopy all around suddenly, and finally i took it out to observe the problem and there was brown algae looking shit going down my stem right where my drip feed runs down the plant. It was working down into the root system, but i scraped the majority of it off and pulled off the roots that had been taken over. Is there anything I can do to rid ALL of it and prevent this from coming back. Im so close to harvest and this is really putting me back for a big HURT! Please, any help is friggin SWEET! have you overwatered? being close to harvest i would assume your watering techniques should be o.k.

1.) try flushing with plain store bought drinking water or distilled water.

2.) try a H2O2 solution and possibly some type of enzyme additive.

i use HYGROZYME. works wonders at keeping root rot away as well as dissolving bad roots into good food. keep eye on ppm.

i had 6 plants, 3 fems, 3 males,

i chopped 3 males and left the entire root system entangled with the fems(to avoid damage to fems). constantly use HYGROZYME every solution.

have NEVER, i mean NEVER had an issue with the roots of the males. they rotted out and were converted to food for the females.

my problem was rushing into final bloom stage before letting buds grow 2-4 weeks after switching from veg to flower.
