I have had a hermie purple widow(all the purple widow hermied and the fems turned purple 3girls 1 male) the male and the hermies go in the breeding chamber/tote box:

I plan on reversing all the top fems by light poison to get their pollen...

ok so far my DADS are Querkle#1, and Purple Widow#1

Hermies are Purple Widow#2 and #3, Mekong High...

Last night i got pollen from the hermi purple Purple Widow#3 and pollenated Purple#1(1) and (2)...

so the cross is a reversed Purple Widow x Purple#1 = The Color Purple

SHOULD HAVE THEM SEEDS IN THE NEXT 3-6WKS HOPEFULLY

hey brick, good luck to you mate. I don't know much about breeding, but dont you need to do things like "F1" and "stabilize" seeds? Not sure what it means, just checking in

I do wish you luck as well. But shouldn't a big part of breeding should be actively trying to remove hermaphroditic tendencies from plants - and not using hermaphroditic tendencies to facilitate the breeding?

I guess I'm a little confused on why are you trying to force hermaphroditism on the females (and use that pollen) when you have true males available?

Man that's fucked up. I was rly interested in that too. Was gonna make a suggestion tho, Grumpy old dreamer* has an awesome thread on making and using coloidal silver to reverse sex. By using light stress, you are changing the sex by taking advantage of a plants tendancy to turn hermi. If you light stressed some plants, and used coloidal silver to change sex on a plant that WAS NOT affected by the light stress, then you would be reversing sex of a plant that is resistant to turn hermi. By using a plant that is prone to hermi you will most likely get seeds that are prone to hermi.

But by genetically or hormonally reversing a plants sex that is resistant to hermi, then your seeds will most likely be resistant to hermi.

interesting thread, did some breeding myself around 4 years ago, crossed a female thc bomb with a bubblegum, i call it bubblebomb, best and biggest plant ive grown, still growing them now..............check my bubblebomb album if you get time mate
