i see alot of people say to leave them in the dark for 3-5 days before harvest and the reason being it makes them freak out and sends them into a last effort to save itself increasing trichs..... sooo couldnt that be argued the other way also?? and i would think leaving them under more light at the end would increas trich production more then dark... or am i ass backwards... and no i didnt research the more light thing lol probably should have but in my head it sounds like it would make sense??

Preference preference PREFERENCE!!!!!!!!!

Chop a nug off today, start drieing/curing... Chop the rest in a week, dry & cure. Then smoke em,both in say 4 weeks or so to see what YOU prefer. Then u will know for future grows

flowering hormones build up in the dark slowly, if any light hits the plant these hormones dissipate quickly. then when lights go back out they build up slowly again. This is one of the reasons why you don't break your dark light cycle in flower, i found out the hard way. But same principal, flowering hormones build up in the dark, so people say to let your plants sit in the dark 24hrs or something along those lines. I try and harvest right as the lights come on, I have tried the 24hrs of darkness once. The difference IMO is trivial.

plants produce the thc nodules to protect the plant. Light will cause degradation of the thc. It is best to harvest them at first light for maximum thc....however the degradation is slight. Light is the biggest destroyer of thc....keep them in the dark when stored.

Ive always likened trichromes as the plants sunscreen sort of speak. Honestly tho brotha you could have so-so flowers at harvest and a good cure will increase that potency...i guarantee you that!
