bought a 100 x magnifier what am i looking for

my plants are in soil and 10 weeks old, bought a 100 x magnifier what am i looking for to see if they are ready, through the magnifier, all i see is a very close up jumble of weed, i couldnt help it my mouth started watering.
they have been frosty for a while one of them has turned a slight brown tinge on top and the stickyness feels dryish on that one at the top now.

You want the trics to be milk white at least, to reddish amber. And by milk white, it should be obvious. Not clear white or anything else but thick, creamy, milk white.

Look for 10-25% of trics on callaxes(the buds not the leaves) to turn amber. Trics are the tiny balls on the end of stalks under you scope. They start clear turn cloudy and eventually turn amber. Be patient by the time they turn amber it will feel like nothing is happening with your buds, just look for that amber to fully mature your weed.

Amber Trichromes only if you want a couch lock. Plus it's NOT at peak ripeness. Peak Ripeness IS when trichromes are milky white just like Mr. Ganja said. I personally like a 80/20 blend. 80% milky white and 20% amber. It gives me a good high with some couch lock at the end. Good for medicating. Dont grow it too long the thc will degrade and your plant will taste more flowery instead of danky.

Also the top of the plant will mature faster than the bottom. That's why I wait till I see Milky with some spots of amber.

i still have not got a clue. what am i looking for?
all i see is stuff close up, how do i identify these tricops,
what am i looking for i. how long after the plant is teally sticky for a week .

did you get the one from maplins with the blue light on the front? if so you have to be touching the bud with the mag to see them right.

Well your main problem is that you have a 100x magnifier.
Mine goes from 60x-100x and I NEVER use 100x. It's too hard.
You want to buy a new magnifier. A lot of people use a 30x jeweler's loop, but I like 60x.
You can buy the same one I have at radio shack for $12.

I use a 100x without any issue at all. No need to go buy a new one. Just needs to learn to use the one he has.

yes its that one. £8.99 maplins it has a blue led light built in and has lumagny written on the side. i can see the little tricop thingys but the look blue with the light, its a struggle to see them but i can do it after a couple of minutes.

you think they are gonna find out who i am, gods honest truth. my modem is on the virgin cable network and is hacked and cloned with another customers. my laptop is nicked from pc world. my operating system is windows 7 professional, a legal copy copied from the security label from the pc of the local plumbers. business accounts are allowed 4 copies, i stole 2. once they are registered to a pc they are with it for life. retails at £299.99 if you leak the product key that is your problem. so you see. if they want to trace me they cant. wee gogs was a greyhound i backed years ago at the gaff tracks that won and i got 2 grand back and thats why i use the name.
will never forget that fkn dog, it belonged to a mate. it was only about 68p a pint then too.
