I'm curious about blue dream and want to give it a go. As we don't have access to the original clones I was wondering if the available seeds are any good.
From what i was reading here the HSO version has a pretty good rep. Is there a big difference between the clone only and the HSO seeds?

There could be. I would say it comes down to the nutrients and if you are using pgr's.

But as long as the clone your getting is from a known grower it shouldn't be a problem

We can't get clones, just seeds.

Amos, I've seen you being more helpful than just posting a threat url with hundreds of posts.... I've seen this one but it doesn't really answer my question. Or perhaps it does but finding out will take a while....

Its just that Amos and I both have spent a lot of time answering your question in multiple threads. In the one he linked to we each describe our growing experiences, feedback from others and posted pictures. Amos wasnt being a dick, he was literally pointing you to a thread where your question was asked and answered.

hso's blue dream looks good to me, but i'd not really compare it to the clone only blue dream as the clone only is super sativa leaning, and the hso blue dream seems to lean way more to the indica side of things..
this often happens when comparing a breeder's version of a clone only to the real deal clone only.. sometimes a breeder's version will be almost identical to a clone only, and sometimes not.. does this mean that the breeder's version isn't good? well, it depends on what you're looking for.. if you're after a pretty solid strain with good taste and good potency and yield, the hso version is probably good for what you're after.. if you can't get your hands on clones, you really don't have any other option but to try breeder's version of famous clone onlys.. it is what it is really.. most of the time they're solid gear, are they exactly a copy of the clone only, usually not so much..

From what I understand there is a sativa leaning pheno out there from these beans. My experience is very easy to grow, nice yielding and great tasting bud. Not super strong by any means but people seem to love it.

I like it as a daytime or wake n bake buzz but probably wouldnt keep running it if my folks didnt love it so much.

Sorry Amos, i know you are/can be helpful. but posting an address to a huge thread is Not. Posting an particular page would have helped. If somebody askes for a particular bodhi strain, Do you refer then to the bodhi thread with thousand of page?
And yes, i am aware of the search function. And i wouldn't ask without using it. sometimes the results are just not good enough. And i spent more than 2 minutes, believe it or Not.

I just chopped a couple HSO BD's and have a few out doors...I've found if I take them at 55ish they are full on brain melt...letting them goto 75 gave me weight but the buzz I like was gone...decent creeper effect to it....if you grow them you won't be disappointed in the least....i didn't give HSO much credence but now that I've gotten a few of their strains grown out I'd probably pick up a few others, haven't tried their reg lines yet, but have seen nothing but good stuff there too..The clone only is a better plant all around, but the buzz that I got from the HSO bean was pretty similar, maybe even more intense

Yeah out of my 10 pack I only got two that were sativa dom.

My last 10 pack was complete garbage. 7 shwaggy looking things and 2 short indica types. That was a few months ago. My first 10 pack from a year ago was pretty good stuff but after this last one I wont be getting them again. Got both packs from Attitude.

Well I just got my seeds this Feb and popped them...all of them are amazing. I've been growing outdoors for yrs and have never seen anything like this....even my two that were a bit spindly when starting them inside turned into beasts
