Black algae?!? Overnight!?!

Okay so I have a homemade aerocloner had 4 clones in for about 3 weeks nice long white roots then BAM over night what looked to be BLACK algae? Suffocating all my beautiful roots, also black particals floating on the top layer of water and clinging to the sides of the bucket walls.(looked like soot)

Nutrients(AN; Voodoojuice, connoisseur AB grow bloom)
Rootzone temp(low68°high73°)
Canopy temp(low70°high80°)

I don't feel this is root rot or light leaks.
Never had a problem before. Just before this happened I had 2 older clones from a week before in the same aerocloner with the other 4 clones. I transplanted the 2 older clones into my dwc buckets with no problems they are still beautiful!

I don't know maybe I'm too high or not high enough to see the problem.KELP ME!!!

I remember that stuff, the dreaded black snot, use H2O2 as directed on the label, clean everything genitally rinse the roots in a mild H2o2 solution. empty the cloner and serialize it using bleach and h2o2 rinse well fresh nutes

Do you know what the cause is? I just tossed the bad clones and will sterilize everything. Not worth it to me to try and fix them I'll just get new ones. I just would like to know how to prevent this from happening. Doing this for 3 years same routine but never seen this. It is the first time I've used Voodoojuice though...

When I got it I blamed my super thrive, you probably got it from what ever V-B seaweed spray you use. That and you have a light leak

I hear that about light. I have various house plants I grow in water. They don't have airstones and light hits them every day.
