biodegradable planting cups?

hey guys, i recently received some clones from my local dispensary and im growing them. they came in these little cardboard cups which i am pretty sure are biodegradable because they get kind of melty when they are wet. roots were sprouting through them so i assumed it was ok to plant directly into a pot with the plant still in this cup. is this ok? does anyone know about these cups or have experience with them?

Yeah, they are peat pots.. I have a bunch of them.

yes sort of. mine are much smaller though and not as thick.

Yeah, they are peat pots. you don't have to take the plant out to transplant. Just put the pot and all in the new pot..
