Co2 regs are nice, but then u'll need aditional things. Expect to spend roughly 300 to get a regulator, a 20 lb tank, and a fill. If you want to control the ppms of the co2 specifically you'll need at least a 4-500 dollar environmental controller like the CHHC-1 or CPPM-1 by sentinel. Your other option is to test manually and set up the regulator on a standard timer (note this will take a lot more guess and check work to get it down). So to summarize, $300 bare minimum for CO2 tank/regulator, and if you want total control, expect closer to 800-1000.

Thanks Someguy,

I fully understand the costs involved, I just want to see how much of a difference it will make.

typically people only use CO2 in flower due to costs. From what I've heard you can expect a 25% increase in yield, but keep in mind that's ballpark and a lot of other conditions have to be spot on to make the CO2 worth it. They also prefer a higher temp in 1500ppm CO2, roughly 85 degrees instead of the normal 75-77. Good luck /end thread jack, sry BigSky!

lol its all good. honestly i fall into the no co2 investment group. all i spend is 15 bucks x2 on these natural Co2 bags. better then nothing and good for 6 month.

Nice, I've seen the CO2 bucket at my shop, but at 130 I will PASS. 30 sounds much more reasonable, I'll have to see if they have anything like that.

Im thinking about just getting a regulator and a bottle, I have a glass cover for my light, and Co2 is heavier than air, so Im just going to do my best to add whatever CO2 I can to the area with the bottle, I dont mind if a bit gets sucked out of the room through the light, something is better than nothing. Im also going to see if I can get another light, dunno if Im going with a 400 for the vedge room, or buy a 1000W and take the 600 I have now, and use that for vedge. I just want buds like yours dude. hahaa

do they work? not sure, how's my bud look? have had them in the room from day one so all i know is they are better then nothing, and cheep. if your local grow shop doesn't sell them you can try http://co2bags.com/index.html but almost positive they only sell to stores.

Im with you

i know people who feed co2 that way and my friend would spray the buds a few times a day. he swore on that method so i'm sure it would help.

more light = more bud but that doesn't mean you cant get an excellent harvest using smaller amounts of light. my first grow ever was a single 400w with 45 days of veg time. three plants gave me 310 g of killer smoke.

Yea, I dunno. Ive never had a harvest yet and Im going on day 31 of vedge and I seriously doubt I will be flowering before May 1st. So Im looking at 45-55 days of vedge total.

Im definitely going to put them under my 600W HPS, with one of those Hortilux Eye bulbs. Im going to put them on Advanced nutrients line. My light footprint is small right now, dunno how much bigger it will get when I go to the 600W, or how much the temp will raise up (between 74-77 now). But if the temp does go to 81+, Ill definitely go with the CO2 regulator, when you bump up the Co2 they like a higher heat (up to 85 degrees, from what I hear).

Ive never grown ever, so I dont know what kinds of buds Im going to be looking at. And if Ill be able to keep my shit when these baby's start flowering. I'm so excited. Its kind of a tease, I look at your bud and Its like, best case scenario.

So I have a plan, and a backup plan.

it's the character limit for sigs. It counts the raw html so every char counts. All of those color html tags add up also. in the top right u can click the 'A/A' symbol called Switch Editor Mode' then u should be able to see the raw html.

Good to see you back though.

Take out the current strains, and put it all together separating the words with capitals.

you need to make the strains the actual link for you grow, what you do is copy the url from your first page

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/313934-bigskybudthcs-perpetual-grow-lots-pictures.html

highlight the strains you typed out, then click this button
and copy the url in there and the link will work like i did above
