EDIT: With a bit of ghetto-rigging, my screen is up and holds well surprisingly (for tape). The current haps:

lol tape...?! lol its just a screen with string so no big deal if the tape dont hold. as long as it dont fall on the baby. when it gets older it could probably support the weight of the screen. looking good thou

I'll do a bit more to secure it today (more tape) haha. I'm quite confident it won't fall. Sorry, I'll take a pic or two later but for now... Refer to Day #12! She has become stunted and looks quite the same, which isn't surprising.

I don't know much about watering except for the fact that you're supposed to let the soil dry completely before watering again. Am I misinformed? Is that all there is to it? When is the most beneficial time to be watering and should my watering be on a strict schedule? Thanks for reading.

After she experienced some stunted growth due to shock (I hope), she's on Day #15 from seed. She was completely drooped and the leaves had all folded up. This morning, this is what she looks like:

Hilo-
Don't transplant too much, 2-3gal container is more than enough for a lil indoor grow. During this short season I'd say the same for outdoor container size as well.

The Fox Farms has been extremely acidic in the islands as of late(as confirmed by UH botany) and you may want to throw a little dolomitic lime as a top dress. No need H202(peroxide) or anything like that, keep it simple.

Stretching is caused by heat and insufficient light.

Water in the am and make sure the ph of the water is correct.

How's it goin', this is Day #16 and she is still stunted after two days of shock/recovery, although she looks healthy she hasn't grown an inch since I re-potted her.

Been meaning to get a pH meter. I now understand that, indeed, Fox Farms is acidic. I'm also headed to pick up something to address the acidity, most likely what you suggested. Thanks for checkin' it out.

Might want to rethink the screen, it's nice to be able to move your plant to check for mites and such. Just top at the 5th node and use small bamboo stakes to stretch out plant. Not sure if you have a temp/humidity gauge but you will need them soon.

Here is a little test I did after alot of us guys had problems with FF. The small one is in FF, other 3 are coco.

It's only held up with tape so it's not a problem to get it out of there and I have not prepared for pests etc. so it would be a good idea. I just gotta get this baby off the road to recovery and growin' again.

Day #17 and it would appear she has diverted her energies towards growing a sturdy stalk (due to my mistakes) and her leaves haven't grown at all. Considering bringing her outdoor sister in here and throwing her out to let mother nature do what she does best. Screen is out to accommodate change. Still need to get something to control/read pH.


EDIT: She is also, most likely, suffering from some kind of nutrient deficiency or the other way around.

I'd probably leave her in her current soil for now and see if ya can get her(hopefully they are both females) going.

How did you transplant? You want to try and disturb the roots as little as possible, a real rough transplant will shock some.....

I was too rough with her, I felt a slight snap as I was transplanting. I'm sure that's what did it.

Despite burning her first set of leaves off, my outdoor girl is looking good. I'll post a picture or two soon

yea that is mint. you probably did an accidental supercropping of your own like the dude who did the fimm technique. looking forward to the pics.
