As I get older , sleeping under a cold tarp gets less n less appealing .
This year I got my buddy to get me a new tent n stove n food n put some work into my camps & pack it in for me n cashe it .
6man ice shack, I sewed a stove hole into it. Used metal ducting for a case to protect it n wrapped in gorilla tape. Fuck you mice.

It was even painful to watch, he finally has the hunger to make it happen.
I can’t wait to put him on a ram, the look on his face when the band came into the area, I thought he was gonna cry .
He kept say how do you do it .
2 weeks before we went to a different area, n I showed him 22 .

I tell everyone sheep hunting is a lot like punching yourself in the face, it’s more fun when it’s over, but I can’t wait for for it to start !
First sheep I've seen in a field not grown by Farmer Billings

Congrats! Be proud! Our yunguns are the future of hunting, props to you for passing the skills.
Thanks. Moose meat is my fav!
I'm very proud but cant really take the credit. My older brother (her dad) and grandpa took us hunting and taught us everything from dressing out game to firearm safety from a young age. All I did was drive and help scout this year.

All you did was drive and scout... it's her first moose! Shell never forget your contribution to the day. Give yourself credit.

Lots of early & late deer movement - have yet to see my "band of bucks" again tho.
I took a big doe a couple of days ago with a neck shot from the .50 muzzle loader so she took the "freezer" pressure down a notch.

Saw this spike again this morning but no shot. He's got a big body so will make a welcome addition to the meat store and I think I'd like to remove him from the gene pool.

CVA Accura with a Bergara barrel (Nitride treated Stainless) and is guaranteed to meet your accuracy expectations or they'll refund you.

I use the magnum load (150 grains) of "whitehots" pellets which is much cleaner and non-corrosive than black powder.

Bullets are 295gr copper coated lead that are devastating & she will hit "balls on accurate" out to 100 yds and beyond.
