BHO yield help

This will be my first run at BHO. I'm just curious to know how much wax I might get back from an ounce of middies and an ounce of headies? What way should I go for my first few runs at making wax? Thanks guys!

I get 4 grams for a zip of my home grown average and be sure to purge it properly

And a can is good for 2 zips half a can an oz somethimes less u want to stop blowing butane through once u see the liquid start commin out clear...when the river runs clear u extracted most of ur bud some people run buds twice I run em once then toss em be sure to break them into fine lil nugs put a few in ur tube pack it with a stick more buds pack and so on...I run 3 coffee filters blow onto a hot pyrex dish then set it on a pot of warm water ...hot bath and I keep my temps below 140 I whip it let it sit whip it sit scrape it into the center spread it back out raise heat for a min then set on table to let cool down then scrape ....itll take a while before u figure out what works for u ive done easily 30 runs took me about 10 till I figured out how to.get my end product the way I.like it

We average just over 20% on prime bud and about half that for trim.

Im a newbie here and have only run maybe 7-8 blasts and i have been averaging about 20% on good bud. I do not live near any medical states so the TOP NOTCH is typically not availble. Danno said it best, that is pretty much the same exact method ive been using, minus a few steps, i just whip until it gets really sticky to the glass and the toothpick slows down from resistance while whipping. Then scrape and sit over night. I have wound up with a variety of textures but always after a few days its crumble wax. Ive been super happy that since everything i get around here in the town market is black, nasty, and goupy, and sells for 60-80gram for shit. DIY is the only way to role. Good luck bro!
