Bho vape pen high vs oil rig high

I'm about to blast and purge my first blast of bho and I'm in need of a smoking instrument. I'm looking to invest in a top notch pen, or an oil rig. My question is how does the high compare. Dabs from a rig get me very medicated and I was just wanting to hear some reviews on the high from a high quality vape pen. (Straight bho not tincture) thanks !

Those are for convenience, I would say get both but make the rig your go to piece.

I think the rig does the job much better. The pen is great on the go or spending a day somewhere and such. When I'm at home, I hit the rig.

rig is way better but the vape pens are cool for on the go, i have taken my rig places tho....

My rig is gathering dust since i got a dabbler. I got it out last week cause i missed it, and the taste actually better in the dabbler.

I for one don't really care for the high from a vape compared to combustion ..
Ime a Vape is a bit milder, and even the high seems to be different compared to smoking..

None of the vape pens that we've tested can compare to a Ti Nail, though some do a good job of providing discrete doses in public, where a blowtorch seems to draw attention.

What I like best about one hit devices, is that the flavor is the same hit to hit, where anything that evaporates a pool of oil, evaporates the lighter constitutes first, leaving behind the heavier more phenolic tasting ones for the next hit.

I agree with most above for an supreme high use the rig, nothing beats the pens for traveling IMHO.

pen is alsooooooooooooooooooo good for disc golf, parties, beach , any where!!!

rigs are nice when they are at home..

when i see/use a rig not in a safe place, its an uneasy feeling.

i hate seeing glass break :/

I've been dabbing on rigs for a while now, and just bought my first pen. You can get a set of 2 Micro G pens on ebay for 30 bucks, and the spare atomizer coils are only 4 bucks a piece. I love the rig, but was surprised at how nice of a hit I can get off my pen, though I've only had the pen like a week so far...and in the past 2 weeks I've bought 3 more rigs...I think I have a problem..... .

So far in my limited experience using honey oil I've found that A small inexpensive and well shaped rig is best. I tried a few configurations but so far the best hitting glass in my arsenal has been my 7" 6-arm showerhead perc with a quartz domeless nail....it was $60 total. I have a domeless Ti nail but the design allows oil to pass thru too easily. I also was using a regular Ti nail with a dome but it's a cheapo low grade...I recommend staying away from cheap Ti nails; some shit out there on the market are very low grade and have a weird metal taste..yuk. Quartz on the other hand is totally inert and has no taste but not ez to keep clean. Hits like a cannon though and I found many different types online under $30. Glass nails do not hold heat long enough IMO.
I am impressed with how well vape pens work but they are a bit wasteful. I have a White Rhino DV2 that vapes oil pretty well but I'm still partial to my rig. Pens are great for events and travel though. Fat dabs
