Best size container for Mother Plant indoors??

I searched and could not find much...Mom must stay around 4 feet...5,7,10,15 gallon
Which is best? Mostly Indica Plants.Would like to keep for a year

I have kept my mothers in 10 g containers for about 4 years now (same plants) and they are still thriving, everytime i cut babies i usually get between 30-50 cuttings per plant... walmart has them for like 5 bucks

Do you ever have to replant or cut roots?? Are they rootbound? W

Stable mother in good conditions can easily live 5+ years. I have seen several in person with stems well over an inch in diameter just under some CFLs.
