I love some European breeders. What bothers me about some US breeders is that they feel like they can exploit us to an extreme degree on the price they charge for seeds because their product doesn't go through customs. I think it's disgusting. There are a few excellent European breeders and a few excellent breeders in the USA, but I'll continue to support those that charge a fair price for their product, which means for now I'll continue to order from Europe.
Oh there are some great US breeders. I'm in Oregon and there are some great ones in this state breeding some really good stuff. But they still are not selling stuff I want and I know people growing growing many of the genetics and have access to cuts. So I have no need to buy seeds if I wanted to grow those strains.

Also my growing goals differ from many. I'm not growing for yield as I don't sell anything. I am more focused on creating my own strains and for that I wanted to go back to landraces and IBL's which necessitates sourcing genetics from overseas. I don't want to start a breeding project with some Space Monkey Brown Sugar Kush or other polyhybrid. I wanted to start with something else and call it my own. So much of the US strains are just more crosses of crosses. I don't want that. I can take my landrace afghanistan, Indian, Thai, and South American strains and create my own.

I had several people grow out what I've created and all were happy this year and I got a lot of feedback. That feedback has been essential in the goals I have.

I really don't care what anyone else grows. It just gets annoying seeing so many people slamming the Europeans while praising so many fly by night pollen chuckers in the US.

Which European breeders do you recommend for landraces/IBL?

Check out some ACE offerings if you're looking for sativa's.

I have never grown anything like these before and looking forward to the voyage as well as the destination. Thanks for the tip. :bigjoint:

Nirvana gets bad PR for some reason but I love them. Great strains, great reliability, fast shipping (~10 days to SW Mich) and they are currently DOUBLING seed orders if you pay with crypto
nirvanas bad rep stems from a time when he was producing seeds in make shift tents in a large room. the tents were made from silks and he had many differant strains being fertilized by fans in these make shift tent rooms and there was a great deal of cross contamination from the bad practice
