Best LED for $400-$600?

Sorry man. I have just started to post and get serious about doing a grow. I am an electronic guy and have a shitload of tools to do any diy. I just get wrapped up in the particulars. I go back and forth between using the back part of a yard shed or building a cab in my garage. Somewhat stealth to hide from the wife lol. Anyway i was looking at a space of about 2' x 8' available along the back wall. I built heavy duty shelves at about 4' high on all 3 sides. I could use the above part of this back wall (the part above the shelf), but I planned on simply having a chimney going to the gabel vent at the roof apex. I could put my carbon scrubber in-line with the vent / chimney / exhaust. The floor is wood; so I planned on cutting a hole to pull cool air from under the shed and use some sort of filter for bugs/ debris. So I need veg and flower led set ups and have to decide how to divide a 2 x 8 footprint and approx 4' high. I would like to build both fixtures. I currently have some of these shop led lights sold at lowes. They are nice and dang bright. I was tentatively thinking about using thee for veg but they may be overkill. I also wouldn't mind having two identical setups that I could toggle from veg to flower by simply adjusting the driver current and / or height.
Thanks for any advice you might have! Sorry to be so long winded. Perhaps I should start a thread. I defiantly will once I start a build!

@SuperKush89 -yeah that was pretty shitty if me. Sorry to jack your shit. I am spun and stated typing. I knew I should've started a thread to ask all that shit. Lol

Anyway, as to your question. I don't know much about the commercial panels, but I personally would not spring for some of the prices I see. Yes high quality hi bin LEDs are expensive, but again imo, I believe you really do get the tech you pay for when purchasing high quality chips from a reputable seller. I can easily see putting one of these diy panels together. If you are looking for a warranty though I guess that might be another concern. I would be more than willing to help someone out to get a fixture together, but I am different than others though cause I really enjoy making shit. So this I am certain doesn't answer your question, but at least it addresses it. As some form of an apology? Fuck idk. I am spun. Lol.

I plan on spending at most 400, but I am thinking of dumping all of that into high end LEDs for roughly a 2x8 space 4ft high encompassing veg and flower. I have lots of aluminum now and the drivers will be a separate purchase or salvage once I decide on cob and the number. Dude if I had 4-600 in hand right now I would order some heat sink, drivers, and cobs! Wish I could just make panels for people and have them light up some of their better stash whilst I work. Lol.

I know that when I was reading about 9mos ago there were some pretty great instructions. SupraSPL has some outstanding technical info, but that is shit I like to read.

Best 400 to 600 commercial panel. I don't think one exists. From what I've read here there will always be someone quick to point out how you could've saved. Now an investment in that range such that it could easily be worked on and replace the components with easily obtainable off the shelf stuff like the item I just saw that used the vero 29s? That is something I would look into if I were dead set against "rolling my own"

Peace

No $1700 2yr warranty lol.
How does it take for you to build one lol?

Sidenote: it's sort of weird to see how as COBS become more and more efficient (which they are totally doing), the less and less watts are needed in a grow space. This means that what once took say 400W may only take 200W or less. I just wonder how that affects people's judgement when buying products because we are taught that more is better but clearly it's not always the case and in some instances, hurts our wallets and even worse, our plants.

I really hope the 360 vero isn't too powerful because i know i have a 32x32 now. Eventually that will be my veg tent and then when i can I'll get a bigger flowering tent. I feel like it makes sense to get that light now if im going to need it anyway in the near future

Buy a 600hps and save a few hundred . Run your first crop and make a few bucks off your finished product . Re invest with the money you made off hps . By the time you finish your first run in a 4x4 with a 600w hps , Area 51 LEDS will not be available anymore and you can upgrade your system like you upgrade a phone every two years . They'll have new Cob Units available which will be better an efficient and yes more expensive . Be mindful of now and later . Just my .02. Thcbreeder

Okay, that would explain why they look like they got chopped early, because they did.
What are your thoughts on the light? Hows the bud density?
