I'm talking cheap, organic veg & flower fertilizer from Tractor Supply/Walmart etc. I can't afford this Gaia stuff with medical problems in a reccession ya know?

I know some brands like Dr. Earth are vouched for etc but exactly which product combo exactly do you use? 3-3-3? 15-15-15, All the #'s & names frankly confuse me.

Please post pictures of what you stocked up on. I'm going to store today & need to know exactly which products to buy!

Thanks folks! :D :D:clap::peace::peace:

The soil I use has nutes in it that last 2-4 weeks. Once I observe hunger, I use Dr. Earth’s all purpose 4-4-4 in veg and
bloom girl 3-9-4 from week 3 flower ~ harvest. Don’t forget worm castings. Just to name a few things It packs a load of microbes/bennies and condition soil and promotes root health.

Heard good things about dr earth. I haven’t used it but I’ve heard people compare it to Gaia.

I’ve also heard good things about the DTE bio alive mix.

++doing some worm castings like others mentioned. I would pair suggest some compost tea and you should be good to go.

I almost bought this from Menards since it was only $10, but they had smaller 5 lb bags of different formulations. Never used it before but it's cheap and organic and local (for me anyways). I top-dressed some tomatoes this past weekend so I'm hoping for the best.

It looks like it’s just chicken manure. You can get chicken manure for real cheap. I think I paid 4 dollars for 1.5 cubic feet.

I really like chicken manure in my backyard veggie garden. I have clay soil so the chicken manure helps break it down.

One word or warning is it is Hot. It can burn your plants. I haven’t seen many cannabis growers use it personally.

If you want decent organic nutes at a good price, I switched to Espoma brand organic nutrients. They have numerous formulations. I started using their Holly Tone for veg, and their Flower Tone for you guessed it, flowering.
I love Dr. Earths Flower Girl but, it's gone from $10 for 4 LBs to $29 in just a few months. Putin's got things all fucked up. Global nute pricing and availability has started to impact the farmers harshly.
I would encourage everyone to get out ahead of this. I ordered enough nutes to last until this time next year. Hang on to yer asses my friends!!!

My bag's ingredients says: Aerobically Composted Poultry Litter, Feather Meal, Meat and Bone Meal, Sulfate of Potash. Can it still burn plants if already composted?

Ah, it’s got more going on than I thought. It could burn but I wouldn’t be too concerned about it. It’s harder to burn plants with amendments than say with salt fertilizers. Start slow, maybe at half the amount they recommended. Crank it up if the plants don’t show any negative affects.

in my actual garden I don’t really worry about burning plants. I rarely measure my amendments and I never experienced plants freaking out and getting burnt. Now I have a bunch of miracle grow that I occasionally use in my house plants (trying to get rid of it but people keep giving me more) and I’ve definitely burnt plants with it.

People keep giving me chemical fertz and I can’t figure out how to ethically use it all. I feel like it’s wrong to just toss it.

I have a good authority on here suggesting Dr. Earth 4-6-3 for the entire run... veg +bloom with no switching needed. Anyone else had any experience with that?
