About that man, no more that 3-4 at a time in 3gal pots with photos, I may do like 4-6 in 2gal pots with some autos.

I mainly plan to run photos with a scrog.

/Your set up is exact what I'm looking to do, 4 plants in 2/3gal pots.
Looks good man, that's with two "300w" leds? Pretty much what I'm looking at and it looks like it's working out great for you.
Yea 2 cheapo 300w chinese specials. My Kill-a-watt says 124w at the wall each. Those are tiny 1/2 gal pots, was testing to see how small is to small in coco. Probably do 2 gal here on out. I don't mind testing different ideas on auto's because I only grow them for quick bud.

Make this guy an offer. Umm say $80+shipping

I'm honestly tempted to hit him up that a pretty good deal. Do you know why this one is not dimmable?
I'd have to look at ballast but some don't come with a dimmer knob built in. Some have the option to wire dimmer in seperate. That guy also builds 2x288 v2's @ 185w for $225. He only builds one or 2 at a time so you have to wait or contact him.

Strips vs QBs, thoughts?

Qbs and strips are the best 2 LEDs on the market by a huge margin. Both are made by Samsung. Strips seem to be better for coverage from what I've been reading but I'm looking for more opinions. The QBs v2 is pretty new an so they may have passed the strips but like I say, I dont know

So if your set on LEDs, what's the reason to not build one with Samsung strips? Pretty sure that dollar for dollar the strips are going to do you better than a Mars hydro

@nfhiggs can give you some accurate costs and help though possibly?
OP could put together one of these:
2x4light2.JPG

8 Samsung strips at 15 bucks each = $120
Heat sinks made from u channel for $12 from this place:

Meanwell LRS-200-24 200W power supply - $23 from arrow.

Or he could go with a smaller layout and a 150W power supply:

I've been working with a Higrow 600 watt 12 Band full spectrum with optical Len's and it works wonders. They have a 300,and it even has the separate Veg/Bloom and it's not cheaply made. Very Solid, built like a tank. Super bright. And at only $69.99 you can't find a better deal. Check out Amazon.

This is your very first post so imma say..... horrible advise from a likely sales rep of said light. But I'll look at it so I can talk the right shit or admit I'm wrong in a few min.

Anyone wanna place a bet on what route I'll take?

Not a sales rep at all.Just had to Say what I have gotten from using the said light system. It's not a big price, and if you look on YouTube you can find a couple of really good video's of what it can do.
I'm sorry you think I'm THAT new to this... this is a off brand clone of the viperspectra right? Please dude. Please dont recommend a burple light. They are trash. Without exception, all burples are trash.
