Ok I got a ton of berry ryder gem seeds from a great bud. So In my quest to get over a pound I went ahead and went c with a s.o.g grow. I germ and planted 75 seeds in 3 27 gallon totes. I wish I filled the buckets with more soil but I ran out and don't want to spend anymore money. The soil I'm using is 2 cf of promix, .5 cf of steer mature, and 2cf of cheap top soil. I also did the first watering with a sample fertilizer I got from the hydro shop. ......the plants will stay inside for the first 2 weeks to get them a good start under 2 mars hydro 300 watt lights....wish me luck20160515_213415.jpg 20160515_213420.jpg 20160515_213357.jpg

Ok not sure what happened in one of my tote but I didn't get anything to comenup. The less then half. I was thinking the seeds but then I I place 36 in starter trays and all spouted. So I went ahead and did another 36 Sunday so I can fill in gaps in the other 2 totes this kind of set me back but no worries. I figured if I can get at least 10 grams a plant I will be doing super good.

Here's a few pics. I think starting in trays will be the way I do it from now on. I dropped the seeds Sunday and I already have 17 that broke the ground. The pic with a milling seedlings is the tote I fill yesterday from the trays. There are 36 in there. 20160526_151405.jpg 20160526_151407.jpg 20160526_151416.jpg 20160526_151421.jpg

Pic update...the girls are doing well outside. Already have a little smell. The olderror ones stems are getting really thick...I might have planted too many now that I have a few people who telling me they grew these out they get huge. I was told average yield was about 2 zip. And someone else told me there's get at least 38 inches tall. So we will see.20160609_162923.jpg 20160609_162925.jpg 20160609_162928.jpg 20160609_162923.jpg 20160609_162925.jpg 20160609_162928.jpg

The plants will thin themselves out. The bigger plants will choke out the little ones. It has already started. So at the end if I have 15 each to toe I'm still doing great

Some how I was under the impression that berry ryder was a small plant...so my idea was I could grow a ton of them and get 5-10 grams a plant. After a lot of research I realized I messed up with the planting...at this point I'm not sure if I should pull a few out or just sit back and let them do their thing...at the end of the day I want at least a pound from each tote...not sure if 5his will work seeing the size these may get...I'm still hoping that they realize they are cramped and stunt a lil...I'm 5his king about getting a 4x4 tent and pulling them back inside so I can wash them and tie the bigger ones to the side

Another note, these are in 27 gallon totes but we're not filled all the way. So each plant may have 1/2 gallon or less. That could keep them small or present more problems like needing to water more often and more nutrients needed...

My goal was to grow like @bf80255 when does his seed runs. I think I may have kept the bigger ones inside to long. At 5his point I will do a lite mist everyday and when they start budding I will cover with shade cloth to hide. The smell is another issue

I grow 4 to a tote. Two totes total. Overall footprint 3'x4'. I'm getting 7-8 ozs maybe more. I don't weigh it. Indoor 600hps 24/7 FFOF. If interested go to my BKR project page. I just harvested a tote and took some pics of the roots and crap. I only have 5" of dirt in my totes.

I had to confirm. My totes are 10 gallons.
So I might have 1 gallons of soil maybe....they are doing well so far. Have to plan my next steps carefully since it will determine my yields. I want to tie down the plant near the edge of the totes. Is that lst? I want to give the ones that are smaller in the middle a chance instead of giving up on them...not sure what would be the best line to use without causing harm...here are some updates20160614_144603.jpg 20160614_144613.jpg 20160614_144620.jpg 20160614_144624.jpg

Next time I would also fill those toots full of good soil to the top.that way you can bend some plants over the sides to get moor buds and give the roots moor room to grow so the plants don't get stunted jmo..ky
