I had to get the Ca fair plan too. You’re not still trying to collect from them are you because i’ve heard that’s one of the problems with them. But i’m still trying to get all of my money from nationwide so what do you do. Lots of people had carriers that straight cashed them out. Not me of course. I had to hire a public adjuster and it’s still crazy.

Right on, glad to hear you're getting close. Yes, those a-holes at fair plan did compensate us fairly, but still took too long in my eyes. I cant believe you are still having to deal with your claim, that sucks. We were pretty lucky it seems. Our adjuster was amazing, he went the extra mile everytime. He even snuck past the national guard to start our claim process early.
Also, not sure if I told you before, but my garage/studio and out buildings all survived, minus a well house. So it wasn't a total loss, and have even had a few people interested in buying it. Needless to say, minus the emotional trauma, we're feeling pretty fortunate at this time.
