Go online and look for metal suppliers or fab shops near you. I picked up 12 feet of t6 1" angle aluminum for under $50
I bought about 60 feet of 1" aluminum tubing, all cut to size and wrapped up for about $100. Angle is much cheaper. Guess I'm lucky I live near a Metal Supermarket. Their shops are located across Canada.

Is that a good price? Was looking at Princess Auto and they have a bunch of different Aluminum angle for around the $20 mark for 8 feet

edit- checked online... the 3/4 is $20 for 8' and the 1 inch is $24
Depends on where you're at. I can get 8 ft pieces of 3/4 angle and 3/4 channel for around ten bucks at my local Do It Best hardware store. Canadian prices seem to be about twice that.

It's basically the same price for 12 of the 1120mm F series and 12 are easier to fit on 2 drivers than 25 560mm unless you're wiring in parallel.
So i should go with the longer strips? I was thinking smaller because i can play wth the spectrum a bit more... but its no time for me to be playing around. Thats for when i have a good light up instead of an hpsXD

I would go with the longer strips - less wiring to do.

10 560mm strips fit on the 240H-C1050 A or B series driver using 230v of the 238v available. Perfect match. You can get 2 of them and run them both into a junction box and have both drivers running off one potentiometer from 10%-100% using a 50k ohm pot and a 5k resistor so they dim at the same time. Or use the A series driver and dim with a screwdriver from 50%-100%. Will max out at about 500w or almost 42w per sqft.

I had my doubts, and yes Ill admit the expectation wasn't that hard to exceed.....
I followed the lead of those around here who really know the numbers, and on paper at least I became a believer, so I built some 3500k panels, with the 2footer EBs.
As far as growing TALL plants, I doubt they would impress. Penetration is definitely a drawback on this style of emitter, but they can definitely push enough intensity at canopy level to satisfy....
