It's related because they're the same thing.
BC Seed King takes the best strains from the original breeders, growing out the seeds to finds the best parents and starts an IBL (inbred line) with them.
So BCSK "Purps" is an IBL of BCBD "The Purps".
I know because I've grown this strain (and growing it again soon), I also contacted BCSK to find out the history of their genetics and that is what they told me.
Sorry for the confusion, but that should clarify things.
Hey all. I know its an old post but i'd like to add that I grow this strain from bcsk a lot. I absolutely love it. I ordered 10 fems, got 14 and every single one of them germed and were female. It grows best using hydro. I used both soil and hydro and I found that it was easier for me to get my ph dialed in than with soil. I use bubble buckets. My highest yield from 1 plant was close to 5 ounces dry. I was and still am amazed at how easy it was to do. I am only a newbie grower but I'd recommend this strain for anyone new to growing. I'm in the process of growing 3 mom's atm and am building a 42 site areo grower. I am going to do a 42 plant sog grow when I'm ready. I can wait.

I have used bcseedking in the past. very reliable and very good place to order from. I always got extra seeds. in fact one time I ordering Texada Timewarp from them years ago, and half of them died once the first 2 leafs popped. I wrote them to tell them that I was not looking for a handout, just simply to let them know is case they keep a record of these things. a week later I got a pack of new seeds. If I were to ever order seeds again it would be through them for sure.
