Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

Another NL popped, and there's one more that is looking promising. Also, I just had a raft of veggie & herb seedz show up from Baker Creek. Last year I was too busy getting my medical garden up and functional to do anything about my kitchen garden. This year, I'm far more on top of things and will be starting a bunch of stuff in the basement for transplanting outside in 8 weeks or so.

Anyone else growing something other than bud in their setups?

I won't be using my set up but I really need to get my ass in gear and start planning the veggie gardens I want this year.

Yeah, I fucked around too much last year and by the time I was ready, it was too late to do much.

I just planted seedz for all my kitchen herbs, plus a dozen pepper varieties, and some catnip for His Majesty.

On mj front, I'm continuing to work through my single-seed freebies, and planted a single G13 Labs OG-13 and a single Cali Connection Buddha Tahoe into wet paper towels and baggies. They're now in the bread proofer with the rest of the NL.

The NL is apparently a *real* slow seed. The two that I saw start to crack open 2 days ago are still just barely cracked open. The one I stuck in dirt is slowly trying to open the initial leaves. Meanwhile, both the Buddha Tahoe and the OG13 are ready to go into dirt.

I gotta wonder esspecially since its NL if maybe its some OLD seed stock. That would certainly slow them down.

I'd totally believe it. I'm sure Nirvana has seeds dating back to the 1980s...

I'm going to pop a package of Hazeman's POW if nothing has happened by the end of the week.

blue hash kicked ass for me!! awesome all around, not the biggest producer but made up for it in quality for sure. nice color outdoors, didnt have much color inside and it wasnt as resin soaked, but either way im sure you will like it.

And, just for fun, a pic! My BHO guy came by yesterday with the results from running my last 9 plants (the ones that over-dried during my vacation) into oil. He ended up with around an ounce. The Pineapple Express was more shattery, while the Critical Jack turned waxy. He also brought some samples of Phantom Cookies and Neville's Haze, both of which were so tasty that I had to have a little nap after he left. Between this, the 15g or so of ice water hash I still have, and the 7 oz of bud I have jarred, I think I'll be able to survive until first harvest this year :)

edit: dammit, pic link isn't working.

Sativa: Good to hear!
Alien: Welcome! I'm not sure I'm going to mainline this round, I want to get the first harvest fast.

how did the blue mammoth work out for ya? I have 5 bm autos. 2 are awesome, getting really fat buds and some color. The other 3 are about 3ft tall and really skimpy looking, probably going to be around 100+ days until finished. Im about 65 days in and one just started to flower 2 weeks ago. One of the better ones is almost solid 10-12 inches nice bud for auto.DSC00945.jpgthis was a few days ago.

re: Blue Mammoth
Well, it just germinated a few days ago, so it's probably too early to tell much about it :)

TC: Yes, all BHO.

Yesterday I picked up two clone of my Pineapple Express pheno champion from last year (my buddy has decided that plant is going to be his main prodo crop, his patients love it), and two of his Fire OG. I know I said I wasn't going to grow the Fire anymore, but the combination of smelling/smoking it after a few weeks of cure and the fact I'm not mainlining this time around convinced me to give it another grow. Truly a unique flavor. On the down side, he has had a mite problem, so when I came home from wandering his garden I immediately stripped off my clothes and threw them in the wash and took a shower. The clones themselves were brutally drenched in spinosad and neem oil, and are now isolated in the cloner. They will be carefully inspected with a scope before they are allowed in the garden proper...

The one NL that germinated died, and none of the other seeds are showing any signs of cracking.

Two of the Blue Hash are now in red cups, and the other three seeds look promising. I also found another freebie auto (La Diva), it cracked and is in a red cup.

Finally, I stuck five Cotton Candy fem seeds into paper towels yesterday.

Its great to have people to keep genetics alive. Sucks about the NL, but at least theres plenty of others to run.
