Reckon he's completely baked ;) What's up Barking, hope everything's OK with you. Give us a shout man ...
You're right I have been baked but I have not had any broadband to get online.

So far, Ivy and Biga have been harvested. Alice was about 35/40 grams total dried

and Biga, about 40/45 grams. Charley is still drying and I thought would be the best

but she's only going to be around 30. So I will get just under 4 ounces from 3 plants.

Thats not too bad, the quality though is hard to beat.

I thought Biga was a much smoother taste and easier to smoke.

They all have the same flavour, very fragrant almost spicy and a great after-taste.

I couldn't be happier for a 1st grow that I thought would be poor quality.

The buzz is quite physical and a good bong hit will make your whole body tingle.

I am not even going to bother giving the feeback I have recieved because it's

a bit over the top in my opinion but I would have to shop long and hard to find

anything of the same quality in the West Country

I'm a very happy grower right now.

Woo hoo! It's harvest time!

. . . .

One final question to anyone who has an idea.
How dark does it have to be?
Can you get away with light coming through the door crack?
Great harvest, thanks for the journal Barking Mad

From what I've read heat and light will break down the THC. But I'm a noobee.

Well I have had 2 weeks with no internet.
It was most distressing I have to admit. :wall:
Fortunately it's all fixed and brand new now so it shouldn't happen again.

There's not much more to add to this journal now.

I am about to have a smoke of Charleys top cola tonight.
I'm looking forward to it quite a bit.

She has been drying since thursday (5 days).

The first plant I dried (Ivy) I had the fan extracting air 24hrs of the day.
It dried her out too fast really, a touch too crispy although after 24 hours of curing it had evened out quite well.
The second plant (Biga) took about a week to dry with no fan running.
Charley has taken 5 days to dry.
This time I had the fan extracting air for about 12 hrs of the day.
It was just right. The outside of the bud is dry and crisp but not crumbly. It breaks nicely.
I have about a 2 gram lump to smoke, the rest is going to be cured and won't be smoked for a week now at least.

Anyway, here's some pic's.
Some have been shown already.
Ivy, saying goodbye.

Biga. Saying goodbye.

Charley. Saying goobye.

I originally thought Charley would be better because she had longer branches. When you look at her an Biga you can see Biga's bud travels right along the branch.
She was the best coming in at 45 grams.
Then Ivy was 41 grams.
Charley is the smallest yield at 39 grams.

There is not much difference between the three girls high.
Charley is possibly not as smooth as Biga but has the same lovely taste.
Ivy was probably a bit less of an intense buzz, it did
make me tingle but a bit more light headed than the other two.
Maybe an extra week in flower would have made the difference.
To find any faults at all would be splitting hairs.
I am so happy with the outcome of these plants.
My White Widows will have to be very good to compare.
Unfortunately, they wont be ready until the new year.

I may start a journal for them later on in the grow.
They already smell gorgeous.
I have 4 but one is severley disabled and I will be interested to see how it turns out, if at all.
Here's a preview.

What about when curing or storing, will light weaken the bud if it's in a glass jar?
Anyone else know?
Honkeytown?
