These are my three mothers for the upcoming season. The two bigger ones are about a week and a half out of sprout and the other two are about a week out of sprout.
I hope everyone enjoys my broke ass setup for now. Had to move my setup for reasons. Not much to look at now, but a month from now they will be cloning ready.
It sounds like you're putting something tasty in the soil, like blood meal. They don't dig to be mischievious and you say they left the plant to wither. Raccoons taught me that's a no-no<g>

I didn't put anything but straight soil. They were just curious about what I buried.
Yeah closet growing the mothers and cloning. That will also be part of this thread. Gonna keep updating as I continue to setup for this years.
Posted last years if anyone wanted to check it out.
Also gonna pick up a decent camera this year. My roommate has an 8 MP camera that should work good for now. Didn't have many pictures last year, this year gonna document the shit outta this grow.

i just took 2 clones of my Dutch Passion White Widow to make mothers out of for my outdoor grow this summer as well as some Cheese, and Chem Berry. I just hope this summer will be good since last summer was horrible for me. So much rain. Where abouts r u in NY? Bottom, or top? Im near the capital region.

Oh.lol i didnt notice you filled in the location. How does the White Widow do outdoors? Does it hold up well? Have you had any problems with animals. I tried a test run of bag seed outside last year, so this will be my first outdoors grow with good strains. I figured prolly would be best to just start with clones.

Was going to try some white widow outside this year, but was told it will not work. First time seriously outdoor growing. Ready to get going, seeds already, but it just keeps snowing. Will be checking in on your journal to see how the ww does. Good Luck

The only thing i am really worried about with the ww is it bending and breaking with the wind. But i figure as long as i use a stick to hold it up should be ok. The one that I have indoors is about 2.5ft and when moving, it bends very easily to the point that it looks like it would snap if I wasnt being gentle., I got a 1/4" dia. x 4ft wooden dowel and its perfect now.
i did watch a WW outside grow about 2 years back on here, was a northwest coast grow
it didn't ripen too well in the fall weather, but that was a cool, damp fall there
you're at the mercy of the weather in NY, a warm fall is what you need, but that's going to be true with most strains here
