Bad times

think ill go with your 18/6 suggestion 12 hours is a bit long but rooms temp never goes under 21 degrees Celsius i think it was the coco being to wet didnt help and not high enough temp for good growth, trying to get air in without temp dropping more and them being young plants.. Id rather stick with the nine plants, if your in uk thats the limit for lesser prosecution just a fine or something as its classed personal
You can even go 24 hours light if you are concerned of cool temps when lights off. Your plant will just veg more.

High temps don't go well either, there's a balance required

True but plants in general like heat especially radiant heat and will metabolise faster under warmer conditions. Radiant heat can be a blessing, high air temps can be a curse, your right though balance is everything. I believe the standard of today which is a much lower air temp than that of a few decade ago is more to do with Trich production than plant growth and speed.

BTW There is a like button bottom right below every post, though it might not show up until you've made a few more posts or got a few likes.:bigjoint:

Yes, higher is subjective. Ice measured temps right on a cfl is 38celsius, abd the leaves can handle up to around 33 but i would not keep them anywhere near this hot cause the leaves need the light more than the heat. I keep no hotter than 28c

This king kong hermie of mine is growing deformed now because its growing into the ceiling but I dont mind, I love the hermie, its only mid 2 weeks into flowering and it has over 3 times the bud sites and bud thickness compared to the pure females which were started abd flowered the same time and the same strain. I don't care what people say about hermies. Just gotta know when its too much hermie
