backyard grow problems

molasses is dirt cheap, it's worth buying just for a plant, it's a nice source of potassium in addition to its other benefits

yeah just regular maple syrup. but backstrap molassis is what they recomend i just dont have it so i used syrup and it worked just as well

this is much debated with the syrup versus molasses
syrup is mostly sugar(usually) - molasses contains a bit of nitrogen and phosphorus, more potassium and is an excellent source of trace minerals - just don't overdo it

growone;the molasses can be purchased at any hydro store right?
and can you tell me about bending the plants downward to get more colas and topping the plant?

i don't have any hydro store near me, but i would guess it would be there
it's a lot cheaper to buy the unsulfured molasses at the grocery store
bending doesn't give you more colas, it just rearranges the cola's location
topping does give you more colas, whether this is worthwhile is a complicated call. for inside grows it can be worthwhile. for outdoors, topping may not mean more yield, though it can aid in stealth by lowering the plant height

yea?how should i do it,with trimmers or what?and where should i do it?
and im going to post another pic of something,i need to figure out what it is

not sure what trimmers are, scissors would work, razor would work
topping is pretty easy to do, you cut down a node or 2 from the very top leaf set
there is another technique called fimming, which is quite similar, the cut happens on the very top set of growth
search RIU for fimming/topping - there are some excellent tutorials with pictures

where do i search RIU?

the search link is at the top of all pages when you're logged in
it's a bit to the left of the logout link, real powerful tool for growers
