B.M.O? Blue Mountain question?

I plan on growing organic and maximizing my yields as much as possible. Also I want good quality buds. I have researched and heard good thing about Blue Mountaing Organics. (BMO). I have a question how do you feed it to your plants? Do you use it to make a tea? Or do you just mix 1 oz to a gallon and feed a quart per plant without and making a tea with the bubble machine?

I recently have been looking at their products and I belive that some of them require bubbling before application and some of them are just add and water. Look at each item and read the describtion. I'm sure they would answer any questions too. All you need is an aquarium pump basically.

Yea thats happens to me all the time.I would highly recommend all of BMO's stuff, it does wonders for my plants, it's not to expensive and it ships fast from Ebay. I bubble all my BMO products with a lil helping of grandma's molasses. You can skip foliar harmony nutes and just add them to the flower power if you dont like to foliar feed. I got a feeding chart from a guy named OhSoGreen last summer it's not something to live by but more less a rough idea to follow if you need advice on amounts and timing. I'm watching a game right now but I'll find the file and post it If you'd like to check it out.

I see this all the time. You ask a question someone gives you an answer and you act like they didn't respond. Maybe instead of asking questions you should investigate a little bit before hand. It's like people are allergic to reading or searching and want everything spoonfed to them. Here:

super plant tonic

For soil use - mix one ounce ( 2 tablespoons ) of Super Plant Tonic to one gallon of (chlorine free) water. The NPK value is 1.25-.4-.9 Pour into soil at the rate of one quart (mixed) to each gallon of soil in containers, and for in ground use - do not exceed one gallon per plant (weekly). Example: 4 gallons of soil in a container - requires one mixed gallon of Super Plant Tonic per week - or less. For soil this works out to 16 gallons of mix at regular strength or 32 gallons at half strength per bottle.
For Hydroponic use - mix 1/2 ounce (one tablespoon) of Super Plant Tonic per gallon of (chlorine free) reservoir water (weekly). Example: 20 gallons / 20 tablespoons and the added NPK is .6-.2-.45 (this is regular strength for hydroponics). There are (2) tablespoons in an ounce. For Hydroponics this works out to 32 gallons regular strength mix or 64 gallons at half strength per bottle.

grow it green:

This 16 ounce bottle makes 32 gallons of fertilizer with an NPK, which averages 5-2-5.

The ingredients are Artesian Spring Water, High Nitrogen Bat Guano, Worm Castings, Coral Calcium, Unsulphured Molasses, Humic Acid, Beet Root Extract, Comfrey Hay Extract, Alfalfa Meal Extract, Endo and Ecto Bacteria..

These ingredients are processed by first oxygenating them for a week in a special tea brewer, then the mix is pasturized, cooled, strained and filtered to remove sediments. The endo and ecto bacteria strains are added later. Ensuring only positive microorganisms are present.

This concentrated fertilizer, requires mixing prior to use. One half ounce to one gallon of chlorine free water. It provides both a highly soluble feeding solution and disease protection from the endo and ecto bacteria.

Grow It Green may be watered in, mixed into a hydroponics reservior, or sprayed directly on the leaves of your plants, up until one week prior to harvest : for fruits, nuts and vegetables. If used as a foliar spray, it is best applied on the underside of your plants leaves, when temperatures are not high. Early morning or late evening are best.

This product has a 1.5 year shelf life. The date it was bottled is provided, in each store listing

foliar feed:
One (16) ounce bottle of "Foliar Harmony", from Blue Mountain Organics, makes 16 gallons of foliar feed with a NPK which averages 2-4-2.

The average foliar spray bottle is 32 ounces, which means it can be filled 64 times using one bottle of Foliar Harmony.
The ingredients are Artesian Spring Water, Fossilized High Phosphorus Bat Guano, Worm Castings, Coral Calcium, Unsulphured Molasses, Humic Acid, Comfrey Hay Extract, Alfalfa Meal Extract, and Ecto Bacteria..
These ingredients are processed by first oxygenating them for a week in a special tea brewer, then the mix is pasturized, cooled, strained and filtered to remove sediments. The ecto bacteria strains are added later. Ensuring only positive microorganisms are present.
This concentrated fertilizer, requires mixing prior to use. One ounce to one gallon of chlorine free water, or 1/4 ounce to one quart of chlorine free water. It provides both a highly soluble feeding solution and disease protection from the ecto bacteria.

Foliar Harmony may be sprayed directly on the leaves of your plants, up until one week prior to harvest : for fruits, nuts and vegetables. It is best applied on the underside of your plants leaves, when temperatures are not high. Early morning or late evening are best. It can also be used to supplement bloom fertilizers.

flower:

"Flower Power" is one of the newest products from Blue Mountain Organics.
This 16 ounce bottle makes 32 gallons of fertilizer with an NPK, which averages 1-8-7.

The ingredients are Artesian Spring Water, Fossilized High Phosphorus Bat Guano, Fossilized High Phosphorus Seabird Guano, Worm Castings, Coral Calcium, Unsulphured Molasses, Humic Acid, Beet Root Extract, Comfrey Hay Extract, Alfalfa Meal Extract, Endo and Ecto Bacteria..

If used as a foliar spray, it is best applied on the underside of your plants leaves, when temperatures are not high. Early morning or late evening are best.

Like with all Blue Mountain Organics products - Once you buy it, you’ll tell others to try it.

This product has a 1.5 year shelf life. The date it was bottled is provided, in each store listing. New batches are produced each month.

So as you can clearly see they are already oxygenated and in it's concentrated form. Add it to chlorine free water (reverse osmosis) and you are good to go. If there was any doubts again, ask the seller when purchasing.

Wow dude for real people like you make me laugh!:bigjoint: Thanks for your answer! I appreciate it. But when I wrote "I see guys looking and no one answers" I was refering to all the 32 viewers that looked at my question, excluding you. And FYI what you copied and pasted to me is old to me. I read that already. The reason I posted this question is because I cant seem to find no threads on how and if to make tea out of the liquid BMO Nuts. Considering the fact that aereated teas need to be used by a day or two before going bad. I have read numerous threads on BMO. I see it has been oxegenated already. But according to Compost tea expert Bob Webster aereated teas need to be used within 48 hours. So how is it possible that this liquid is still viable? Im not against BMO I placed my order already. Thats why I am posting this question. I want to use my liquid nutes from BMO the best way possible. It looks to me that this is more like a leaching tea rather than a aerated tea ( The ones made with an air pump) So please dont assume and make an ass of me and you when saying "its like people want to be spoonfed" and that I need to investigate. When in reality yoiuu dont even know if I did or didnt. I did my research on BMO and plenty of it too!!! I gues I wil try to contact them on ths matter since it seems no one could give me a definate answer on this. Thanks for you help:-P

it's all good I was in a pissy mood or something but the information you need is all there. I believe that there is no need to bubble your tea just mix and feed. From the description it would appear that they already brewed these mixturews and you need only to add reverse osmosis water. When you buy it just confirm with the seller. Otherwise just get a bucket and an aqurium pump but honestly I don't think you need to to that. BMO is very helpful I shot him a pm on a question about organics and got a fast response. So just pm him on ebay and confirm witrh him it's already brewed and you just add the water.

BMO is fantastic stuff...I swear by it. I agree the foliar harmony is not so important...I've never once foliar fed anything but water to clones.

You do not need to brew a tea with the concentrated fertilizers...they have already done that for you. What you purchase is ready to be mixed with water, per their instructions. I measure it out, pour it in a gallon jug, shake it up and feed it. You want to use 1 quart nutrient solution per 1 gallon soil. A 2 gallon pot requires 2 quarts nutrients, etc...

I never have to use more than 1 tbsp per gallon of water...not sure why you had to GTO.

I also use BMO worm castings and high nitrogen bat guano amended to my bio bizz light mix/fox farm light warrior soil blend. This helps keep my leaves nice and green throughout flower, and allows me to use the liquid nutrients at or below recommended levels. However, I always use more Grow it Green than Flower Power, usually 3/4 tbsp Grow to 1/4 tbsp Flower, as plants don't need that much phosphorous in flower, and they need to continue receiving nitrogen. I apply Super Plant Tonic with every feeding, though I never exceed 1 tbsp per gallon and gradually reduce strength towards the end of flower.

I also use Botanicare Cal-Mag+ with every feeding, and I think it's crucial to use a similar product if using BMO.

I feed every time I water, usually full strength feedings, and I never flush. I use ~1.5 gallon pots, I water every 4 days or so. And this is what I get...

EDIT: Always use chlorine-free water. I use a brita filter and fill up 11 1-gal jugs at a time, then use as needed.

BMO does not work on its own....you have to add other stuff....guano's, Calmag...worm castings...and so on it is not enough by itself

Maybe so, but it is still far less expensive than using Humboldt's stuff...guano, castings and cal-mag cost ~$30 and will last for a while...

I understand having larger plants means more nutrients, but that will be the case with any nutrients line.

And the only issue I really saw with your plants in the video was yellowing, and that could have been from not using enough Grow it Green throughout flower. The 1-8-7 Flower Power isn't really enough to support the N requirements of the plant during flower, and should be supplemented with more Grow it Green.

Good luck with the Humboldt stuff...I hope you find it's worth it...

Beautiful plants Jerry. The look soo dank! Are those clones? And what strain is that if you dont mind?

Thanks Mr. Piffy. They are indeed clones, though they began life as seeds I ordered from attitude.

The first two are Dinafem Blue Widow...a freebie seed I received a while back. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The second two are Barney's Farm LSD. That plant likes to stretch and get tall, but it is just fantastic smoke. No trip-like experience, but very potent stuff nonetheless.

I love BMO!

Here is something i recently ran across about calmag on skunk forums from the REV:
Botanicare's new-ish Cal Mag Plus (2-0-0 NPK) with chelated iron in it SUX for TLO growing due to the fact that the iron is chelated with EDTA:

Quote
EDTA is mainly synthesised from ethylenediamine (1,2-diaminoethane), formaldehyde (methanal), and sodium cyanide.[3]

Quote
Greman et al.17 found strong inhibitory effects of EDTA over plants such as: necrotic lesions on leaves of Chinese cabbage, absence of development of arbuscular mycorrhizae in Red clover plants, and stress on soil microfauna, being soil fungi the most affected community.

These are those fucking synthetic chelating salts that harsh up your smoke amigos and kill your microlife in soilmix; Botanicare has a straight up Calcium liquid fert called Calplex that is all natural and good if you need it and I hear GHYdroponics also has a good all natural Ca Mg liquid as well with no EDTA crap.

The EDTA doesn't decompose or break down easily at all and becomes systemic and so you smoke it; take another look at that quote regarding what it is synthesized from...mmmmmm.....stoney! LoL

Cool find. What exactly does TLO stand for? Something organic?

I've never experienced any problems with the Cal-Mag+, though I knew it wasn't organic. It doesn't seem to affect the organicness of the soil...but EDTA doesn't sound very good if you plan on recycling your soil (which I have recently half-heartedly been doing in a compost pile in the back yard).

Here's an interesting quote from your link smppro, particular for the Cal-Mag+ (+ means micronutrients)

"Dufková19 studied the interaction of EDTA with photosynthetic organisms and found that EDTA is toxic, since it inhibits cellular division, chlorophyll synthesis and algal biomass production. It is interesting to note that the same concentration of EDTA chelated with micronutrients did not present these toxic effects."

The article also says EDTA is bad because it destroys the plasma membrane of gram negative bacteria...I'm not sure what those are, but it doesn't bode too well for the beneficial bacteria living in the BMO.

My results speak for themselves though...maybe I'll pursue an "organic" cal-mag sometime...

TLO =true living organics, REV writes some nice organic article for skunk magazine, or at least i like them. Ive used it too without noticing any problems but never used it much the second half of flowering.
Botanicare has a nice organic calcium supplement now

SMPPRO why are you hijacking my thread whats up with you buddy!!! This thread is concerning BMO nutes only I didnt ask for help on Ca/mag. I care less about that article you posted. Most of that info I already know. Guys didnt you all know that Grow it Green already has CA/Mag. It has Coral Calcium, and unsulphered Molases a source of magnese. And so does the Super Plant Tonic. Why even bother buyin CAl/Mag when BMO's Nutes already has it.

Word, thanks for the heads up.

The thing I really like about the Cal-Mag+ is that it has trace elements...oh well, I'm still using it for now.

I don't really think anyone intended on hijacking the thread...it was in the vein of the conversation.

I realize that the BMO all have some calcium and magnesium in it, but my experience has led me to believe it doesn't have ENOUGH of those macro-elements, and you should supplement with more.
