Average Autoflower Yields outdoors?

Just to clarify the auto's I grew were good producers but yup they sucked in the potency catagory .

Mataro blue, Pandora, northern lights by Crop King. Buying think different I guess next lol.

Nice. I have some auto ultimate and buddha magnum soaking right now. I cant wait to post about the results. I was thinking about think different for outdoor as well.

I thought I would give them a try last summer . I only grow auto's outdoors here to get an early crop but if I can't find a good one it's a waste of effort.

The Mataro was good but not a true auto and needed a short photo period to finish

Crop King's are hit and miss...over the last 3 years I have tried 5 different auto-fem strains and have had issues with each such as, one was a male, another was hermie, several would not flower unless given 12/12 (non-auto's) plus issues germinating several of them.

but when they go well they do produce a great product

Lol, i will be crossing crop king right off the list from yours and the last posters comments. I dont mind hunting for gold, just not in the dump.

the only reason I support them is because they are a local company and I get great prices at the 420 party....but I'm not overly impressed with their track record.

I thought Crop King were breeders, but they told me they are only distributors...so I wonder where they get these seeds from

If your white widow auto is from Dinafem I pulled 2oz.

Like I said earlier they yielded well but the smoke was crap and also got hit with bud rot but that's been an issue with two out of three strains and it happened first week of August.

I thought so to . I've never tried any photo strains they have though.

If your an experienced smoker you can plant a million of those autos and if they all yield an ave of a few ounces you may actually get high. Otherwise autos are the worst thing to hit the ganja industry EVER.

People will tell you different that they are good or have their place but be warned those are the Jr pot smokers. Not people who need it medically or have a tolerance. Somebody mention Buddha magnum? Don't even hatch them, what a waste of time I did ten. And outdoors autos suck even worse. It will be like 1982 all over if your old enough to remember the days of no selection but border bud and no getting high.

Friends don't let friends smoke autos. Or grow them. See many GOOD seed breeders making autos? Nope only those in it for quick cash and new growers money. He'll I'm an old grower and I got caught up in them for a few yrs before realizing NO auto is good.

Rot! Yea autos love to rot outdoors even in July. Humidity in summer will rot those tiny buds to hell. Never seen plants rot like autos do. Many will never achieve completion because of rot.

If you would like to know the best yielding ones I have tried they were Iranian auto from Dr.greenthumb. total trash at about 100-110 days from start. In a big pot or the ground I had some do 5-6 zips of perfume smelling hard to smoke stuff. They put out some footballs and didn't rot as much as some. But I was left with bags of trash bud that looked good, smelled bad and tasted worse. It gave you about the same buzz as some trim of a decent plant. They do however put out pink pistols that make it look good in flower and will fool you into excitement. Don't let it.

I haven't got to the hate level of emotion that you have for auto's but I'm certainly not liking them at the moment lol. I do disagree that good seed company's are not selling them as Serious does and I do think they are a good seed company, ( but they do say it's unstable lol). I still haven't given up though, if I find one that works it could change the game for me in a big way .

You'll find one you like sure but then what? You can not keep it in veg. So its a one timer with small yield to boot. No buddy you will thank me by not wasting your time and energy on them. Time is to precious to waste on autos.

And your right some companies I do like have autos but it seems like they just put one out there to make every sort of consumer happy. They intend those autos for newbies to fool around with and get experience. Sorry to be so negative but I really have wasted tremendous amounts of time and money believing I would find something good.

You would be much better to make a small light dep. I have made them under trees and dragged my (small) clones out at 7 Every morning and put them back at 7pm. Much better results than autos.

Try doing the light dep. on fifty in the swamp lol. As for seeds I think I can sort that pretty easily and again you may be right, but as MLK said "I have a dream" lol. Average $75 once a year for the lottery of the auto world, ya I'll probably keep trying .
