This is my 2nd grow and 1st time with autoflowers. Yep, I need to ask. Are they ready to chop yet. Once I know for the 1st time I think I will be good from then on. Thanks in advance for any replies and help.

Also would it be okay to take all of the full/done buds and leave the one that aren't full and harvest them later? Or should I just make bubble hash (which I have never tried yet) out of the small buds at the bottom? Anyone tried that with an Autoflower?

Your pretty much finished I would wait maybe a week give it a few waterings of just plain water let it yellow off a little and see if the buds swell any more and then chop and its find to harvest the tops and let the bottom buds develop more you might squeeze 10% more weight out of it that way

Looking really good, Mr_Moodee. This is when some would recommend that you check the trichome color and see if you're mostly cloudy with maybe 10, 15, or 20% amber, depending on who's answering.

Based on your pics, I'd say you're safe to harvest anytime in the next week. And YES, definitely you can just harvest just the biggest colas and give the smaller colas a couple more weeks or more to fatten up. Leave on anything that may still have white hairs.

Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for the reply Kronickeeper , I will give them water for the next week and then chop them down. Then comes the part that i'm struggling with. "The Drying & Curing" :wall:

Thanks Dan, I will def chop them within the next week. I kept these indoors the entire time but I think when I leave the underdeveloped buds on the bottom I will try them outside. I live in Arizona and we have nothing but sunlight and it is starting to cool down a little bit. So, i'm curious to see what happens. The hard part that I haven't figured out yet is the drying & curing. Half of my 1st grow was great smelling and tasted great but the other half was nothing but hay and nasty tasting. I think it may be too dry here in Arizona for my drying.

Invest in a jewelers loupe. that is the 100% sure way to harvest at the best time. atleast 25% amber trichs n 75 cloudy. have ou flushed them at all?

Thats called a staggered harvest buddy.

I have a small pocket microscope that I have been using. I see a lot of cloudy tri's but no amber yet. I have been flushing them with just ro water for the past week. I had 3 Blackberry Kush plants but being new to growing and wanted to try some I harvested 1 of the plants. I know the description of Blackberry Kush says it is a Indica but I only geta Sativa type buzz from the one that I harvested. Is that because I chopped it too early?

Amber trichs is just degraded THC, most of the high is going to go from your plants Genetics not the color of the trichomes, with that being said once amber trichomes start to show up on the actual bud and not the leaf if your buds have swelled and hairs have receded your done. Don't wait for a certain percentage to turn amber your just losing potency. One of the strongest Indica high I had came with an OG that had 5% or less amber but was super couch lock and sat you down. So the high has more to do with the genetics than the color of the trichs.

I would say wait about a week or so with a flush . I have auto flower candy kush about to harvest and currently in flush mode. I just harvested pineapple express autos from barneys and I waited till the trichomes were milky then harvested. Here's a pic to compare to. Idk about trichomes color and the high it effects if any. I just shoot for mostly milky.

You can definitely make hash with an auto. My last auto gave up 11g of keif out of just a pollen shaker.

I would recommend checking trichome color, even if not for the type of high, but the last week can really make a difference in yield weight. When I first started I didnt care about trichomes and got overly antsy, but checking the trichomes can be an indication of that weight gain. Check the trichomes and at the first sign of amber flush for two weeks and you can actually see what the buds will gain, size and all the extra resin too.

Although, I always say don't take my word, try it and see for yourself. And last but not least sick looking buds Mr_Moodee and trapmarley420

Do you happen to know, if i harvest all the colas but one, will it over rippen and produce those bananas? (For fem seed pollen)

well if it is a cola then it shouldnt need to be rippened anymore than the other colas. so all the colas can go at once. I believe that is where they first appear though, colas first.i would just chop all colas together

No, I'm talking about letting a female plant go past harvest to the point it generates the tiny banana like pollen sacs. These sacs are used to pollinate another female to develop fem seeds. Was curious. Might have to look into this more.

If you let a plant go to long past it's harvest window as a last ditch effort to preserve its genetics it'll throw Nanners and self pollinate that's the bananas your talking about ...

Very nice. I was thinking about taking a couple for ealier cure and leaving the rest. Mostly because I'm going to have a lot to take care of. if I harvest all at once. I checked the trichomes, so they are definitely ready, may harvest a few and flush the rest.

Yea bro that's a good bet I think. That's what I'm doing now. Letting whats left keep flushing hopefully get some more weight to it. This what it looks like even after harvest last night....
