Im devo, I just set up my new flood & drain system only realize that my tray doesnt flood high enough, doesnt even flood 1/3 of the height of the pots, due to the tray bowing in the center. Unsure how to fix this one, has anybody got any ideas? Are there different sizes in flood & drain fittings?
You can buy extenders to fit in the back of ur fittings that raise the minimum flood level. Failing that, find a good size PVC pipe, cut to length, use some mesh on top held in place by tape/elastic and bajingo, u got ur problem solved!
Hope This Helps :joint:

yeah i was going to use just pvc pipe for the overflow, put i just wanted it set up too look nice, not like a bad workshop job, ie something that I would do. Is silicone bad for plants, as I may have to use silicone around the hole?

Silicone should b alright, but I know 100% that Plumbers Glue works a treat without any adverse affect.

so i just ate a hash brownie lol

i took 125g of butter and mixed in ground up bubble hash, just over half a gram and heated it on low for a few hours. then made it into brownies!! i have never cooked with hash before, and only ever cooked a couple times all together so i decided to side with caution.

if nothing has kicked in by say, half an hour, i'll give it another crack - mind you i just ate dinner and i will need the munchies to be able to eat anymore lol

Dentist says they need to come out ASAP, but mostly likely wont be able to until the new year.. thinks most of the pain is not wisdom tooth related though so no real answer :/

My outdoor plant is slowly fattening up, cant believe its not a hermie, and pistil are still very white so heres hoping I get some more bud. My mates plants are 2 weeks into flowering and looking great.. 30 tops through the scrog screen in total, and trimming them up tomorrow. My two are phaaaat, getting too big infact and I'm going to have to move them to a mates place I think. Theyre very indica thankfuly, but after 5 weeks vegging are around 50cm+ tall with like 5cm nodal spacings :D

Fun times.

I will do, Im a bit worried cause I have a habit of researching after I buy shit, ie I have been reading alot about feminized seeds, and Im hearing heaps about hermie plants from feminized seeds, Im terrrfied of hermies, nothing scares me more. Im a bit pissed as i would have bought straight strains rather than feminized if i knew they were so common? Are they heaps common with fem seeds, or am i just reading into shit to much?:dunce:

I wudn stress too much, so long as u purchased from a reputable seedbank..
Do you understand the process for making Fem seeds?
Essentially all Fem Seeds come from Hermi plants, but how this differs from the hermis that we grow is important.
A reputable Seed Bank start with 100's of female plants. Through a series of tests they systematically eliminate the weaker genetics. They hit them with hot/cold temps, hot/cold water feeds, erratic light cycles, diseases & pests etc, until they are left with only a few plants. These are the most resiliant and so are therefore least likely to turn Hermaphrodite.
Then the Seedbamk sets out to force this change through a chemical process. A chemical called Collodial Silver is fed to the plant and it pods up. The pollen has an X Chromosone (normal Male Pollen has a Y Chromosone) the Bud also has an X chromosone. The abscence of the Y Chromosone mean all Offspring have to be XX (Female).
All Hermis r XX, but as I said the difference is that Fem seeds themselves r from good stock and unlikely to turn, but the shit that we get from Bagseed has most likely been broken down genetically, and r unstable and likely to turn on us for the slighest f*ck up.

Sorry 4 the Essay, but it was neccesary to answer your question. :joint:
