Alright all i can say is i have had 3 orders from pot pimp and I received everyone of them. Most of these bad reports would have came during a bad time for pot pimp. the owner was dealing with alot of personal problems and orders were not getting out as fast as usual. Most complaints are from impatient people that cant wait a couple extra weeks. the volcano hit around that time also. Either way having the sheeple attiutde will get you no where. I am not talking out of my a$% i have ordered from gypsy nirvana twice and never recieved anything, sannies is great but he ships from Holland so packages get intercepted. Whatever you need to make your own decision instead of being a sheeple and following the herd.

ok, cool scary hell demon, i'll send em some dosh

Go onto the BOM and check your daylight hours (over 12) (sunrise sunset) I know in Brissy it's around 16th sept so you'd likely be a few days later.

you could always start off with some fluros and then transplant out doors later?

Wonder if anyone can help me out here....Im looking to vent my cabinet with an inline fan. i want the fan to run all the time (day and night) at a low speed but kick in to full power when the light is on. I cant find any one product that will perform this function for sale in Australia. Jaycar sell a fan speed controller kit for $100.00 but I reckon that too pricey. then I'd still have to wire in a thermostat somehow. anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? Im open to any reasonable suggestions. cheers

if you havnt already bought the fan, you could always run two smaller ones?....Run one of them on lights out and run both with lights on?

thanks skiz yeah id thought of running 2 fans but due to noise and cost i dont really want to go that route. centrifugal fans are about 200 bucks. I'd rather just have the one and control it. I have a bit of electrical knowledge but I want to see if anyone knows any products that could solve my problem (and save me getting electrocuted) or have wired up their own control systems. Just seems weird that this problems so difficult to solve, i thought i'd be more common?

check out ebay i got a great (2nd hand) centrifugal fan that works like new $50
or you could try cash converters i seen a inline fan at my local one for $50 bucks
never no ya luck u might be able to get 2 fans dirt cheap that way

thanks odlaw thats true. I tend to shy away from buying second hand stuff though, especially where motors are concerned. you just never know how much life is left in them. I know the fans dont use much power but im also concerned about energy consumption (bit of a greenie) so running 2 fans would have to be a last resort solution. Im aiming to reduce energy consumption wherever possible. Im sort of specifically looking for thermostat/fan speed control solutions if possible. thanks for the suggestions though

If it were me I'd have 2 fans & 2 fan speed controllers. Run one on a timer for lights off @ 1/2 speed and get it to cut out as the other 1 comes on with ur lights (& it can be wired to full speed with or without the additional controller). Cost ya more $$ but u will only have 1 fan runnin at any 1 time. Seems unneccesary that you wish to do it this way anyhow.. During the night with low air movement is how mould breeds.

I bought my lights off discount hydro on eBay, but if ur in Melbourne I checked the trading post the other day for some fluoros and there's a light store with a shit load off used lights for cheap as fuck. so long as u don't mind second hand. also on the net, check gumtree.com.au. one guy in melb was getting rid of a big setup for $700. if I had the money it woulda bn mine
