just transplanted mcbabies, gonna give them a couple of days to settle from the transplant and top the remaining girlies

Glad i caught this thread

Just tried my first grow over the 09-10 Summer with shitty results. It was using bag weed and 4/4 seemed to have turned out hermi with very poor yield (but taught me the fundamentals i think and still got a decent couchlock smoke)

Ive just started clones (yes they will be hermis but once i got this stuff down pat im moving onto bigger and better strains hopefully)


So with intro aside a few questions i think can only be answered by the locals of this fine country:
1) Anyone got a good seed supplier for the Sydney area? (focus being on the western suburbs)
2) What type of nutes you use? (because of stupidity i didnt even think to source hydro stores so used good old Nitrosol and some azalea feed as its low ph but high Nitrogen)
3) For those using flueros what brand do you find works best and how do you rig yours up in terms of wattage/location/etc? (i got 2x Sylvania Growlux Tube 4ft 36w)
4) anyone had any issues with the cops? Every now and then i see the chopper out with the spotlight on and only hit me they might be looking for signatures?

Hi Kmoo, Tony Ferguson does work... Its the only weightloss program where you don't have to exercise if you don't want to, but you will lose weight faster if you do... Its very satisfying to see people lose weight...

if ya wanna do it right
buy coco as a medium then use canna nutes or another good quality brand and a 400 watt hps light for 900x900 area
and dont worry about choppers unless your using lots of lights
as far as fluros go i get the big 5 footers and in a mix of cool and warm white globes 36 watts
fluros work great for clones and seedlings but give give you crappy growth when the girls need light
i use fluros when im try to slow my plants down
you can also buy a insulation/heat shield on the net saw it around here the other day to keep the flir camras away 9dont know how well it works)
the way to do this is to invest time in setup fans,lights,grow room then worry about plants

That is usually the case with most breeders, they like to exaggerate how fast the strain is... Seven to eight weeks wouldn't bother me though... But thanks for the heads up...

Hey champions. Good news all round. The mrs has lifted the ban after 4 nights. Thank god. Still am limited though. I made the changes that ninj said about the location of one of my cfls. I wont be getting another bat wing so this will have to do. I am no carpenter thats for sure but am quite pleased with myself. Also got a delivery from our good mate DH. This bottle is so big i cant see myself getting close to using it up.

Damn. Im a broke ass Uni student though so dont have the money to invest in a nice $500 or so HPS setup, not to mention the juice they draw power wise? (rough cost i calculated to get a 400watt with ballast...unless you can suggest a cheaper deal for a noob) Im sure you can make flueros work though without going over the top? I was thinking of bunging on another fluero off to the side so i get more light. Keeping in mind im using the actual grow lights not just any old tube from down at the hardware.

Also i understand you want to keep hush hush about where you are in Aus, but you got any decent seed suppliers (or clones) in the Western suburbs of Sydney?

Rock Nice carpentry skills! But u want the light lower.. About halfway up the plant..
Skiz Seed deliveries aren't specific 2 an area, if they make it through Customs @ the border, they'll make it anywhere within the country..
