Apparently chilli and garlic spray does work. And kinda killing two birds with one stone considering it’s good to deter pests as well. Tobasco sauce was suggested and also sprinkling blood and bone around the site too.
They will all have some efficacy but it’s a big gamble to take when your a cash cropper

I've had all my roots dug up one year. And I never used blood and bone again. The same reason I won't use fish smelling fertilizers
I’ve stashed half a tonne of blood and bone and Dynamic Lifter out in the bush and came back 2 days later and there was half a dozen Komodo dragon sized goannas tucking into it,ended up having to give them a whack with some long sticks to get them to fuck of would have only been 200 kg left

I wonder if they’ll get the little seedlings up at the farm. I did think about caging them but in the end only did a little clear plastic wind break jobbie. Oh well
They should be fine. As long as the frosts arnt bad there then they should get up to 2 foot tall

These 2 little girls are a little neglected but thought i would show them anyway.

They are dreambeaver x cherry puff

They arent as frosty as i would have hoped but the smells are nice.

^^^^^ this one is juicy fruit chewing gum with a slight fuel kick

^^^^^^ this one has the spicy haziness of dream beaver with a strong acrid chem smell and just a faint cherry undertone. I would like to see a little more cherry develop in this one. I think it will because it is very cherry on the stem rub.
